I like a good hefeweizen. I like this beer. Therefore, it’s a good (at least to me) hefeweizen. It has a good looking pour, a slightly hazed pale yellow body with a stately and sustained creamy head. The aroma is slightly overly ripe bananas, bready, with a light twist of lemon. In the flavor, the bananas taste fresh and the lemon turns into zest. A slight clove spiciness finishes it off. Nice.

Typical hefeweizen. Yeast , bananas , clove in aroma . Wheat and yeast in taste. Hazy yellow color , big white head.

Bottiglia da 0,50. Schiuma abbondante e consistente. Birra densa e fortemente aromatica. Carbonatura appena eccessiva. Aroma intenso con accentuato gusto di fiori di campo. Inaspettatamente gustosa. Finale equilibrato e non duraturo. Consiglio 8/10

A yellow Hefe-Weißen with high head. Fresh, fruity aroma with a hint of banana. Taste is light bitter sweet. Pearly. A very good beer.

Ragnampiza (757) - Rome / Lecce, ITALY - SEP 25, 2014
500 ml bottle. Light golden orange, quite hazy, with a big, fluffy and persistent bright white head. Typical hefe smell, quite sweet, slightly alchoolic, moderately spicy, a hint of fruity yoghurt and medicinal herbs. Not ooverly sweet but quite dull, very mild bitterness. Quite creamy and chunky, not that drinkable or refreshing. Malty and slightly dusty aftertaste. Soft to average carbonation, medium body, creamy texture. Meh.

Light opaque gold, medium white head. Yeasty aroma. Rather plain but not inherently bad taste, wheaty yeastiness overall, sweet and... numbing? finish. Not as bad as expected.

Hazy yellow with lots of white head. Aroma of banana and lemon I think. Quite weak palate and taste as well. Probably nice on a warm day though. I’m still quite new to weissbier but hope there are better ones out there.

UPDATED: MAY 12, 2015 0.5 L can. Light wheat aroma. hints of citrus, but not much else. Cloudy, medium straw yellow color with a nice, light head, a bit broken foam with different size bubbles, dissipates relatively quickly with some lacing. Creamy on the palate. Medium tartness, but not one of those overwhelming wheat beers. A bit of clover or ginger .. spiciness, but some boring lager taste shows up in the middle. Hints of wheat and yeast flavor, doughy. Nice and clean on the palate with not much flavor or bitterness on the follow-thru. Drinkable Weissbier, not overly complex or flavorful, great when thirsty, but if looking for a classic, this is not it. Highpoint: Pretty good looking beer, smooth on the palate. Better than a boring lager. Lowpoint: Just an ok Weissbier. A bit soft/weak in richness.
