cloudy dark golden with medium head. Light citrus and honey malt aroma. Nice balance of pronounced wheat, mild bitterness and citrus. Carbonation is on the heavy side. Enjoyable for sure.

clear, smells like beer. tastes like... well that was a lousy note. this didn’t taste anything like oberon, which, ostensibly, is the reason for its existence. as wheats go it was pretty weak all around: some mild citrus fruit flavors, but thin. zero body, hardly any hops. what’s the point? i’ll rerate it at some point.

Another huge thanks to Mrbunn for this loveliness. Pours a golden dirt color with a quickly dying head. The aroma is of wheat and an odd background of dead fish.Taste is quite bland and uneventful..Decent finish but lacks a whole lot of anything good.

Thanks to Ken for this one. Clear gold body. Sweet citrus and bubblegum aroma. Flavor is light, a weak bitterness, honey. Light and refreshing.

Cloudy dull yellow in color with a thick fluffy white head. The nose shows off citrus in wheat though the nose is quite restrained. In the mouth it is medium-bodied with nice balance and crispness while retaining a nice level of density. It comes off as pretty simple but well-made and enjoyable.

Very tasty wheat ale, about as good as a wheat is going to get. Gumballhead still holds that crown but this takes 2nd. This is alot more wheaty and hazy, with this being more citrusy and Gumballhead being sweeter. Who cant love something that says its brewed for the good people of Illinois?

Cloudy gold with a thin white head. Slightly citrus aromas alongside the standard grassy/graininess of a wheat. Easy to drink and really quite good.

bottle thanks to 17thfloor. murky orange color with fluffy long lasting white head. Nice sticky lacing. /aroma is funky wheat, yeasty, grassy hops, funky sourness. herbal and grassy hop flavor, very mild citrus, finish is a little strange maybe a hint of aspirin as well as an herbal hop bitterness. leaves a bit of a strange coating on the tongue. This is very drinkable, but nothing to write home about.

This pours a light amber color and has a small off white head. It has a strong taste of wheat and a citrus and almost tangy bit of it too. Very easy to drink and goes down with a smooth finish. Somewhat bland and they could have added a lot of flavor making this a much better ale. Very good rendition of a classic wheat ale. Great thing it is locally brewed too.
