BlackHaddock (7507) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 9, 2012
Obtained from ’Beers of Europe’, a 500ml tall brown bottle: best before 18 Dec 2011, poured into a German Pilsner glass (three times) during 29 October 2011.
Typical lager/pilsner look, light golden, clear, bright and clean: this brew however had a head that tried to stay on each pour.
The smell and taste is sweeter than a German Pilsner, hoppy, but not as dry or bitter as its German friends. The hops are floral and aromatic more than bittering: very easy to drink.
I like sweeter beers, so this suits me, but I could see a Pilsner fan complaining it isn’t sharp, crisp or dry enough for his tastes.
Pleasant and good enough to put up there with the better Lager/Pilsner/Helles style brews.

Bottle from Lithuanica store, Birmingham. Smells sweet, like rainbow drops. Colour is very pale gold, even for a pale lager. No head. Taste is pleasantly smooth and malty for a minute, but it does not last through the mouth and the aftertaste is like a phantom cloud of souring cake. Not really brilliant, but not horrible. fonefan (49997) - VestJylland, DENMARK - DEC 15, 2011

Clear medium yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, sweet malt, cooked corn, swwt vegetables, butter notes ? Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, acrid bitter, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours yellow with a nice Nekronos-style head. Bready and slightly metallic nose. Medium body, sweet malts and brewing cereal, a little dry and metallic. But decent for what it is. 261111 yngwie (17101) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 26, 2011
Bottle. It pours a clear, golden body and a small, dense, white head. Rather weak aroma with hay, grains and some fruity scents. Soft on the palate, medium bodied and semi-sweet. Pale malts, some hints of cooked vegetables and a touch of both hay and grass in the mouth. Lacking on bitterness all the way. A decent one, nothing more. 111126

Bottle @ Early Winter season 11/12 Part. 3, Ulfborg. Pours clear pale yellow with white bubbles on top. Aroma is wet dog and paper. Buttery as well. Short buttery and papery finish. Watery! Nekronos (4174) - Xalapa, MEXICO - NOV 4, 2011
Nice, refreshing, not so graspy as many pilsners. Nice even if not cold but a little bit tiring after a while, nice foam. RichardGretton (4770) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 25, 2011
Bottle. Pale golden beer with a strongish white head. The aroma is lightly hopped, and the flavour is plainly bitter, yeasty and hopped with a watery dry finish. Overall quite an average lager. TBone (17773) - Pori, FINLAND - MAY 16, 2011
Bottled 500ml (ABV 4.6%, Maxima, Vilnius, BB 09/2011)
Clear golden color, small white head. Light grassy and maize aroma. Light to medium bodied. Sweet malty, almost sweetcorn sweet flavor. Light grassy bitterness in the aftertaste. Clean, but not much a pils, but just an ordinary pale lager.
