on tap at the christmas beer festival in prague. very close to black, some roasty coffee flavours, quite dry with some brown sugar, faintly salty, not bad for slovak beer luttonm (7086) - Seattle, Washington, USA - APR 8, 2013
.33l, updated bottle. Small dark caramel black pour. Sweet coffee and breakfast meat aroma, very appetizing. cool and smooth like dry coffee and ham served for lunch. These are flavors I love but don’t add up to a complete beer. in context McTapps (6985) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - AUG 23, 2013
Bottle from Cuso - thank you my friend! Pours out in a unclear dark brown colour with low head and medium body. Nose of malt and leaves. Taste of light leather, light malt, mild bittersweet chocolate, woods and light roast. Easy to drink, nice and solid Dunkles.

Tap at Madrid at Košice. Dark brown, almost black colour, medium beige head. Aroma stronger coffee, medium roasted malt, light caramel. Taste light to medium sweet, medium to light heavy bitter. Bottle, 330 ml, at home. Many thanks to MisoW! Poured into a lager glass, ABV 5.5%
Pours a very dark brown, almost black beer, with something more than two fingers of light beige head. Foam is creamy and thick, with very good retention and after it finally collapses to one third of its size, it leaves medium thick lacing on the glass.
Aroma of roasted malts but mainly chocolate, lots and lots of it, sweet and milky.
Taste begins with lots of coffee and a light bitterness, continues with milky sweet chocolate and returns back to coffee, which lingers for quite long on the aftertaste too, together with its bitterness. Very nice!
Medium thin body, low carbonation, maybe too low actually, it could use a bit more.
Overall a really nice beer, maybe it’s because I haven’t had a black lager in a while, but whichever the case I enjoyed this very much.
