3.1
Kita (2328) - Koper, SLOVENIA - FEB 22, 2015
Bottle, 0.33l. Pours cloudy almost black with thin frothy light brown head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of moderate roasted malt, coffee, caramel and grassy hops. Taste starts with light sweet roasted malt, milky coffee and dark chocolate with fresh grassy following and moderate bitter finish. Light to medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Not bad, but can’t cope with better Czech dunkels...

kajser27 (2136) - Zagreb, CROATIA - JUL 9, 2015
Dark brown to almost black colored, moderate to small tan head. Aroma is of caramel, malt, chocolate, more roasted malt with a hint of dark fruits and some roasted acidity. Taste is low to medium sweet caramel, Munich malt, bit of nuts, some chocolate, bit of dark fruits with a roasted dry finish. Medium- bodied, moderate carbonation. Pretty decent stuff. (on Tap at FABRIKA, Bratislava)

Bottle; pours dark brown with a beige head; aroma is mostly chocolate with some malt hints as well; taste is sweet with chocolate, malt, and some bitter coffee to finish; decent beer and I was kind of surprised the hotel bar had it

(draught 0,5l @ Netopýr (Brno)) Very light bitter chocolate, coffee, dried fruit aroma. Dark black color. Medium creamy brown head. Light bitter, bitter chocolate and very light dried fruit taste. Medium body. Long dry finish. Quite like light porter mixed with stout.

coldbrewky (1731) - Hippetown East, New York, USA - OCT 13, 2011
1L bottle via Cuso. Dark ruby pour with some central brown tone. Thick spongy tan head. Nose of red wine mixed with sweet dark malt. Upfront cereal tone is quickly overwhelmed by wine infused oakyness. Tart center with a loitering finish. Body is medium and short-lived. If there are any hops in this dunkel they have been consumed by the wet oak / wine bittering. A very nice change of pace. D’akujem vám!

From 0.33l bottle to the original Kaltenecker tulip glass. BBD: 30.06.2014 . APP: Pours nice clear dark brown, almost black liquid. In front of the spot light ruby brown. Medium frothy brown head that fall down slowly. AR: Very nice a rich aroma of strongly roasted coffee, dark chocolate. T: light sweet, heavy bitter, light sour. Malt, roasty, coffee, very dry hoppy finish. Gorgeous long hoppy and roasty aftertaste. PAL: Medium body, dry texture, average carbonation, long bitter finish. OV: Very pleasent beer. Perfect in its style- Dunkel/ Dark lager/ Tmavý ležiak. One of few bitter hoppy dark lagers with deep roasted coffee taste in the see of sweetish caramel dark lagers.

inbirraveritas (1627) - Budapest, HUNGARY - SEP 12, 2011
Tasted on tap at Piritós Bár, Bp. Oily textured, deep dark brown brew with a medium sized, fine pored head and a nice aroma of caramel and coffee, which finishes medium to long with earth and roasted malt.
