Gangstergafje (1273) - Capelle aan den IJssel, NETHERLANDS - OCT 31, 2017
31-10-2017; bottle; at home (bought somewhere in Bratislava, Slovakia). I just had the Turkish Bomonti Red Ale, and this beer has some similarities with that one, especially in the taste. The looks of the beer are fine. The color of the beer is a slightly dark amber and the beer is quite clear with a slight haze. On top of the beer some rough whitish foam is formed. Foam retention is very low and literally nothing is left within minutes. The smell of the beer is nice. I smell some simple sweet malts, with a nice caramel bitter touch. There are also some nice bitter hops, that also give some spiciness. I smell some slight touches of pumpkin spice...not strong, just a small association. The taste is nice. It has te same sweet malts, with the caramel touch. The hops give some nice bitters, with some spicy touches. The spices are also a bit sweet, hence the association with pumpkin spice. It is very nice though. There might also be a slight fruity sweet touch in there. All in all, a nice beer. The palate of the beer is fine. Medium-thin body, smooth and high carbonation. The finish of the beer is nice. It has some spices, clear alcohol, some slightly sour fruits and nice sweet malts with hints of caramel. All in all, a nice beer. Not to heavy, but easily drinkable.

Bottle. Kinda sweetish, medium to full bodied, but clean and drinkable. Still like it!

Bottle from Kozí Vŕšok :) Headless, clear dark amber beer. Aroma of caramel and malt. Same present in the taste with bits of coffee. Finish goes into sweet malt. Nothing extraordinary.

Bottle. Semidark amber colour with white head off. Aroma of malts, caramel. Taste almost the same with light fruity notes and caramel sweetness. Light bitter finish

bottle @ beer company (budapest) good lager hybrid with deeper malt and more hop

Fules (1372) - Gyöngyös, HUNGARY - MAY 3, 2016

Caramel, coffee, butterscotch, alcohol, leaves an aftertaste in your throat, better taste than smell
