16 oz can thanks to Eds FBW contest. Aroma is chocolate, toasted coconut, dark bread. Pours dark dark brown, nearly black, with a nice tan head with good retention and some lace. Taste is sweet with flavors of chocolate and coconut. I love a good coconut stout and this is about as good as it gets.

16oz can (6.6%) picked up at the brewery during release day. Pours black with a finger of creamy dark tan head. Aroma smells like I just opened an almond joy candy bar! Lots of milk chocolate, coconut oil, and roasted malts. Taste or black malts, toasted coconut, earth, dark chocolate, and some bitter coffee. Solid stuff

UPDATED: MAR 12, 2017 Tap at pour house, Pours dark black with small to medium coffee head. Smell is cookie dough, cinnamon stick, fudge and roasty malt. Flavor is rich espresso, dark chocolate, vanilla bean, brownie, and nutty roasty malt yo. Medium bodied with a slightly sticky finish. Excellent tried again via a can in 17 near st partys day. Maybe even better coconut oil, rich dark chocolate, cookie dough, English Malts. So drinkable and smooth

Pours a dark black with light brown head. A coffee and chocolate aroma with strong grains and alcohol. A very strong coffee taste with some chocolate, roasted malts, and grains. A dry malt aftertaste.

Draft at the brewery Port Omna Day 2014. Poured black with a thin tan head. The aroma was roasted malt with a light coconut hint in the background. The initial taste was very heavy on the toasted coconut and reminded me of sun tan lotion. Luckily, it calmed down as it warmed up and I took a few more sips. The strong fragrant side of the taste faded to a much lighter unique complement to the base stout. Actually a very good variant but, not as good as I expected. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at the brewery. Coconut is subdued in the aroma but huge waves of toasted coconut are present in the taste. Thankfully it tastes legit and not syrupy. One of the better varieties.

Draft at the Celebration of the Stout 2013. The aroma was big and roasty with the coconut showing up but taking a back seat to all the dark malts. The coconut actually almost adds an additional layer to the roastiness of this beer, burnt toast, light coffee beans and chocolate round this one out.
