Draft at Brewery. Pours black with tan head. Nose and taste of cinnamon sticks, light pepper, roast chocolate, peppermint and miscellaneous herb/spice. Little to no pepper heat. Medium body.
Draft. Black pour with tan head. Light cinnamon, peppers, chocolate malt aromas. Cinnamon, light pepper, and roasted malts. dmac (6203) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - MAY 5, 2012
Growler purchased 6 weeks ago. This one has been patiently sitting in my fridge and I’ve decided that I just can’t sit on this any longer. Poured a medium density dak black body with a large foamy dark beige head. Aroma starts off with cinnamon followed by green peppers, wet dark toast, hint of chocolate. Medium bodied, wish it was a tad bit fuller, average to slightly strong carbonation and some nice heat that lingers from the peppers. Flavor of chocolate, cinnamon, dark toast, pepper, charcoal, tobacco. This is one grat beer, really really need a sixtel of this one. pineypower (3295) - Ocean County, New Jersey, USA - MAR 31, 2012
Growler thanks to Dmac. Pours out black with a small tan head. Aroma is of cinnamon churros, some chocolate, and spicy pepper. Taste is very complex, cinnamon comes through first with some chocolate, light roast, and a very nice pepper note that becomes more apparent as you have a few more sips. After a few more sips, the spicy pepper lingerings very nicely in the back of your throat. This was another great Kane beer.
