Draft brewery Port Omna Day. Rook coffee is the bomb. Coffee directly added to a stout doesn't need an explanation. I didn't have the New Orleans coffee so I can't compare them, but the Sumatra added a nice dark, strong element. All around great.

Draft at the brewery. Sampled both the Sumatra and New Orleans. Similar results but a nice hint of chicory in the New Orleans. Coffee overwhelms the base beer in both but it's Rook Coffee so that's not a bad thing. Very good. vtafro (7445) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - MAR 15, 2014

growler thanks dmac-pours black with a brown head. Aroma is coffee/peat/ dark chocolate-dark malt, earthy. Taste is coffee/peat/ dark chocolate-dark malt, earthy hops. dmac (6392) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - MAR 31, 2012
Draft and growler samples. Poured a medium bodied deep black center and dark tootsie roll brown edges with a small to average bubbly dark beige head. Aroma is like standing inside a Dunkin Donuts, fresh black coffee, hint of cream and some burnt toast. Medium body with tingly carbonation and a long lingering bunrt taste. Flavor isn’t quite as good as the aroma with burnt toast upfront that fades into burnt coffee, coffee beans and melds at the end with the dark toast. Good good stuff.

From growler at Dmac’s, thanks dude. Pours out a very dark brown color with a small off brown head. Aroma is of dark roast coffee, chocolate, some light sweetness. Taste is dark roast coffee, chocolate, some nice malty roasts, smooth but full bodied beer and coffee flavor come together very well. Another winner by Kane. jtclockwork (16857) - , New Jersey, USA - MAR 19, 2012
