Three Hundred Sixty-Five was created to commemorate our first 365 days. This beer is a blend of two beers brewed almost a year apart. The first part, an Imperial Stout, was brewed during our first month in 2011 and aged quietly in bourbon oak barrels for the following twelve months. The second, a Belgian-Style Quadrupel with Chocolate Rye, was brewed almost a year later in August of 2012. This beer is the culmination of our first years work and best represents our philosophy as a brewery. 365 is conditioned in the bottle using champagne yeast and, stored properly, should age well. Enjoy now or in the future.

Location/Date:Bottle on January 26th, 2013 during day 2 of Nerd Beer Epic Weekend.

Appearance: Pours a dark black with white head.
Aroma: Aroma of yeast, faint roast.
Taste: Faint roast, chocoalte, some yeast from the beligan style
Palate:Medium body, a bit too much fizz

Summary: Thanks Ben for bringing this rare find! This beer is pretty solid, only thing holding it back was the palate was a bit too much fizz. Ben mentioned it was their first bottled beer, so maybe that was the issue. Otherwise, quite tasty.

Thanks to JorisPPattyn. 2012 Vintage. Bottle sampled @ Nog-een-half-jaar-tot-de-volgende-EBT. Blackish brown, small tanned head. Nose is liquorish, mocha, sweet candy, milk chocolate. Taste is boozy bourbon upfront, bourbon is not as pronounced as usual in USA beers, liquorish, bitter herbs, maple, finish is rather bitter. Liquorish, milk chocolate body. Pretty nice, I am not the biggest fan of liquorish & bitter herbs but I definitely enjoyed this one.

Bottle at "Nog-een-half-jaar-tot-de-volgende-EBT"- dark brown beer, nice stable beige head. NOSE: chocolate, coffee, faint anise, little sour. TASTE: bourbon like, vanilla, little sour, alcohol warming, some mocha and chocolate.

Cream head, fast gone over deep brown beer. Milkchocolate/pralin, tiny bit of wood. Chocolate, quite burnt/roasted. Vanilla comes out in the finish, certainly warming up, but nowhere the classical Bourbon onslaught. Well-bodied, quite slick, real chocolate in the aftertaste, well-carbonated. bomber to glass; recd in trade about a year ago. aged. nice aroma of dark fruits and roasted malt. dark pout. first thing that hits me in taste is over fizzy carbonation!? a sweet quad up front with too much yeast and carbonation - enjoyed the bourbon stout part of this more than the quad part; maybe should have been 70/30 the other way...

Bottle... Clear dark-brown ale with flashes of copper and a small, fizzy, off-white head. The aroma is an interlaced assortment of caramel, vanilla, bourbon, toasted coconut and an unfortunate and seemingly misplaced lactic, yogurt-like component. Full-bodied with carbonation that is both fizzy and prickly. The flavor is sweet, boozy and mildly acidic. The light tartness seems misplaced and unintended. The crisp, snappy finish is flanked by warming ethanol that lingers a short while. This may be infected. If not, this is an interesting and enjoyable - although seemingly misguided - effort. Draft at the 2nd Anniversary. Cola colored with a 1 finger tan head. Aroma is mostly dark fruits. Taste adds cherry and a chocolaty finish. Medium mouthfeel and solid carb. Ok but a little odd.
