Coke colored with little beige head. Aroma is some dust, nuts, some phenols, clove. Taste is quite sour with a mix of bitterness and less sweetness. Earthy and rusty notes arise. Meh. Beerhunter111 (24334) - Beerland, GERMANY - FEB 1, 2014

Aroma is rather nice with coffee, some chocolate and roasted malt. Flavour has semi‐dark chocolate, roasted malt and some licorice. Nice, dryish and leathery finish with coffee notes. Very good dunkel, I like the coffee notes here.
It’s red-brown with a huge, creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of nuts, roasted malt, caramel, cocoa and a whiff of licorice. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of nuts, caramel, roasted malt, a touch of dark syrup and licorice, and the finish is slightly dry. HenrikSoegaard (14876) - Randers, DENMARK - JUL 15, 2012

The beer in the glass is dark ruby red with a little foam. It smells strongly of coffee and chocolate, also intensely malty. Starts malty-sweet, with lots of chocolate and caramel. The middle part has lots more roasted malts. Goes into a coffee-like and chocolaty malty, subtly sweet finish! Kristall-König (2821) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - SEP 23, 2011

Bottle (thanx to Quack-Duck!): Ruby-amber coloured, small and stable off-white head; slightly sweet roasty-toasty nose with a fruity tinge; dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; also dry malt bitter finish with a very faint metallic tinge. Just O.K. ..... Quack-Duck (9625) - Down South, GERMANY - AUG 2, 2011
