COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The most refreshing beer in the world. Malted wheat and special yeast give Kapuziner Weissbier its light touch and distinctive taste - a yeasty tang offset by a solid malt body and a delightful tropical fruitiness. Unfiltered yeast lends a hazy, seductive look.

Poured a hazy soft peachy amber with a thick creamy offwhite head. THe aroma was a little sour, typical of German wheats, spicy, citrusy, and yeasty. The flavor was wheaty, had that sour character, some spice, a little banana, and yeasty. The palate was a bit thinner than I would have liked. Another enjoyable German Hefeweizen.

I have to go along woth the concensus with the rating of this beer. It is a decent weiss beer but not extra-ordinary. The beer is refreshing but it is not as complex as I would have hoped. The head quickly dissapates and the beer is rather stagnant after the pour. It looses its character very quickly.
