The most refreshing beer in the world. Malted wheat and special yeast give Kapuziner Weissbier its light touch and distinctive taste - a yeasty tang offset by a solid malt body and a delightful tropical fruitiness. Unfiltered yeast lends a hazy, seductive look.

Bottle: Solid Hefeweizen, great malt / bread dough flavors. Fresh yeasty aroma. Food Pairing: Pretzel in the Biergarten.

Sapore anonimo, consistenza acquosa. Una birra bevibile, ma decisamente mediocre.

UPDATED: JAN 8, 2018 Draft at Bru Craft. Hazy turbid deep gold with a thick head of white foam. Fragrant yeasty German Weisse. Candied wheat. Amber fruit. Tropical sour. Apricots. Bananas. Clementines. Guava. White cherries. Donut apples. Clove. Cardamom. Tang. Nice spark of tart. Medium body. Good carbonation. Strong offering for the style.

Creamy white head stayed on a finely carbonated tea coloured body. Sweet, fruity, yeast aroma. Medium bodied, soft on the palate & clean on the finish. Absolutely no alcohol presence in the yeasty tastes with spices, banana & citrus hints. Good one!

Mini-keg from Bev-Mo: Instant aroma once I started pouring the beer that was an authentic German yeast that had minor clove and banana esters. Appearance was a hazy golden graham cracker and a nitro foam like head. Flavor is caramelized malts with a light toasted butterscotch and minimal notes of the yeast that was only more obvious from my nose.

Schnapp-Flascherl: Deep golden, cloudy, big and stable creamy off-white head; bananas and yeast plus wheaty traces in the sweet-sourish nose; moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied, creamy MF; slightly drier sourish-fruity finish with delicate tart and bitter traces in the aftertaste. Decent Weizen...

From tap at Haus Wertheim, Frankfurt. Hazy orange color with off white head. Malty and yeasty aroma, banana, herbal, citrusy fruity. Sweet and light bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Nice bottle and labelling with a swing-cap opening. Pours a golden yellow/orange colour with white foaming head (which soon disappears). Slightly acidic (citrus) and sour banana and clove aroma in the bottle, same in the glass. Not as much bubble gum flavour as the Weinstphaner and shorter aftertaste. Quite smooth but let down by a weaker taste. Carbonation is good but let down by the quickly disappearing head. Overall feeling is a slightly less flavoursome beer than most heffe weissbiers. Apparently this is quite a cheap beer in Germany so if it was cheap over here I’d certainly drink it. No better than Tucher or Franzsiskaner.
