kapusil (1513) - Budapest, HUNGARY - NOV 13, 2013
0.5l bottle. Hazy orangish body, white head. Sweet aroma of bread, ripe peach and some cloves. Taste is very similar to the aroma. It contains notes of ripe peach, banana, cloves, honey and a hint of grassy hops in the finish. Nice weizen.

villevav (509) - FINLAND - OCT 14, 2013

maekchu (4064) - Hirakata, JAPAN - JUN 2, 2013
Bottle from local Sake Marche. Light yeasty banana nose. Hazy dull brown color, with a thin but very creamy head. Very mild but pleasant sweetish banana initial / mid gets a little fruitier and adds a little touch of hops / smooth finish. Thin-medium body. Better than many of their brews. But not really a "winter" beer. I wish this were amped up a bit, with more body, to a weizenbock level

Marstonlad (962) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 7, 2013
Hazy light brown/bronze color, a small beige head. Aroma of fresh banana, yeast, spices - very fruity, also some maltiness. Taste is light sweet and also a little sour. This seems a bit maltier than many other hefeweizens, only some yeastiness and a touch of banana balance wheaty maltiness. Refreshing and easy to drink, light to medium body. Nice, malty wheat beer - nothing special but fun to drink.

Nordcore (1655) - Lyngen alps, NORWAY - DEC 30, 2012
