Bottle from Alko. Brownish orange colour white foamy head. Sourish banana aroma. A bit crispy bananic taste. Well bodied. Not actually what I’d call a winter beer but good hefeweizen none the less.

500ml bottle. White thick head. Mead coloured, cloudy. Aromas of banana, apricot and chalk. Citric flavour with chalk. Pretty bland and has no real character. What’s the winter part in this?

Cloudy amber/pale brown pour wiith a nice whipped creamy head on its top.
Citrus and banana fruity, spicy nose.
It starts citrus-fruity, tart aroma of yeast, grain, citrus, cloves, bread and caramell, flavour of banana and caramell.
Balanced, bitter finish with nuts, spice and citrus, which remains in a tart-spicy aftertaste.
Very enjoyable.

Bottle. Dark orange, hazy, large and mostly lasting head. Light to moderate sweetish wheaty aroma, some banana and spicy. Body is light to medium, some wheat and banana. Finish is short, wheat and banana. Large and mostly lasting head but everything else is bit plain and flat.

RexTalionis (3813) - FINLAND - NOV 14, 2010
Bottle 50 cl. Pours goldenbrown colour with a big head. Aroma is fruity banana, yeast and some spices. Flavour of dried fruits and banana sweetness with some spices as vanilla perhaps.

50cl bottle with a fliptop from Alko.
Poured hazy, darker orange wth a huge foamy head. Aroma is banana and some spices and caramel perhaps. Flavour is typical hefeweizen with wheat and banana but this one also have some spices that comes along towards finish. Excellent, very drinkable.

Lalli (243) - Helsinki, FINLAND - NOV 13, 2010
Bottle, Looks tempting with its slightly orange color and creamy head. The aroma is, however, rather disappointing. Nothing really stands out, and for a seasonal weizen one would expect something out of the ordinary, but this certainly does not provide that. Weak in wheat, no real notes of fruits or spices, and a light body. Not good.

0,5 l fliptop bottle, bought at Sörspecialista.hu, Budapest.

Murky brown beer with a creamy-foamy, medium stable white head. Banana and some toasted caramel, malt and spicies in the nose. Medium body with nice fruity esters, phenolic banana and caramel, bready malt, spicey chritmas-cookies.Fine.

BeerBaboon (2137) - FINLAND - NOV 7, 2010
Hazy, dark orange weizen with thick, solid looking head. Fruity aroma with just a little bit of smoke. Wheaty flavour with banana and with a hint of spices. Soft carbonation.

TET (3230) - Kaarina, FINLAND - NOV 6, 2010
Brown beer with big and beige head. Aroma is quite strong, wheat, some dark malts, bananas and spicyness. Flavour is naturally wheatish, slightly sour, some roastiness and bittering spicyness. Medium carbonation, nice to drink. Good hefe with nuancees from dark malts.
