(Bottle, 0.5 l, from Alko, 20170128) The beer poured muddy orange and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had banana, clove and caramel. Palate was surprisingly light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, clove, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was watery and thinly bitter. Aroma was good but the taste was a disappointment.

Schöne frische Nelkennase, leicht dunkel, stabiler Schaum. Im Trunk bitter, malzig, hinten leichte Süße, Karamell. Lecker Ding!

0.5 bottle from Alko Arkadia, Helsinki. Appearance is dark golden, cloudy, with a nice head. Aroma has very ripe bananas. Taste has them too. No banana aroma, but really ripe sweet bananas.Yum. This is a darkish very sweet hefeweizen - hopheads shouldn’t bother.

0,5l bottle. Pours hazy dark orange. At first quite normal hefe with banana, yeast and wheat malts, but there is a hint of spices too. Good hefe to be honest.

500ml Flip-top bottle (BBD 30th May 17): poured into an old Hofbrau Munchner Kindl Weiss glass at home on 13th Dec 16. Obtained from Beers of Europe and shared with my son. Hazy amber/old gold body, good sized white head that hung around. The aroma held the usual banana and vanilla esters you’d expect alongside a herbal twist of cloves and coriander like notes. Taste the same with a yeasty overtone. A little too herbal/spiced for my palate, but I enjoyed trying it.

Pours a murky brown/gray. Aroma is of banana yeast and a hint of spices like cardomom. Taste is refreshing with a nice complex finish. Banana citrus and spice. Enjoyable but nothing special.

0,5 l swing top bottle with a retro label. Thanks a lot to kappldav123. Murky dark orange or nearly brown in the glass with a big white foamy head. Wheat-yeast-sulfur-clove-nose. Taste starts with some orange, less banana, wheat and yeast. Very smooth. Pale grainy in the second row. Increasing chewing gum sequences. No real highlight, also nothing wrong, easy to drink but only medicore.
