Mild IPA, not much hoppy or bitter. In my opinion it is not a real IPA, but could be good ale.

Pour Amber color with a nice off-white head. Aroma is quite malty, swwet and slightly hoppy, notes of caramel. Flavor is bitter and sweet, notes of burned sugar and hops. Low carbonation and medium body with a long bitterness. Good one.

Pours amber with persistent light beige head. Aroma of caramel, floral hops and a bit of dried fruits. Taste is sweet, lots of caramel malts, with medium bitterness. Medium body. Expected more hoppy aroma for an IPA, but its a nice beer anyway.

Amber with a medium white head. Aroma is caramel, bread, citric and herbal notes (orange, pine, lemongrass). Taste is caramel and light citric fruits. Light bitter aftertaste. Watery. Tastes like an golden ale. I expected more bitterness for this one, but still a good beer.

Não é uma boa iPa. Não tem o aroma característico da iPa nem o amargor característico da iPa. Não vale tomar novamente. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark orange, big head. A lot of malty sweetness, heavy orange like hoppiness with a long bitter finish. The 7,5% do not shine through. Another good surprise on my brazilian holiday.

Una buona ipa, dal gusto leggermente fruttato e una consistente base maltata in buon equilibrio con la luppolatura, non troppo amara.

60cl bottle from a market in SP, 7.5%, 14.55 R$ (5). Copper color, clear, with a magnificent off-white head. Roasted malts on the nose. Aroma has an overwhelming amout of caramel malt, has a "brazilian" feel i found also in the other Karavelle Ales, dough with a fruity overtone of maybe plum and apricot, brown sugar, tofee, syrup, caramel, butter, quite tasty. Taste is well balanced from a syrupy sweetness and bittering hops, still remaining on the sugary side. Has the characteristic finish of dunkels, lingering roasted malts, with a good amount of bittering hops. Feels yeasty, also if clear. Medium to full bodied, Sticky finish with fuel notes, thick creamy texture, low carbonation. This is lacking the typical grapefruit sourness and the aromatic hops smash, so i dont consider this as an IPA. But its a good ale, nonetheless.

Aroma levssimo de IPA, bem fraquinho. Aparncia caracterstica. Sabor levemente amargo, mais para uma strong ale do que IPA. Paladar com amargor balanceado. No geral, interessante.
