Sampled from bottle at Borresteijn’s place. Clear, very dark red to black with a light brown head. Sweetish, minimally roasty, slightly boozy aroma of vanilla, dark chocolate, some coffee and hints of licorice. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty taste of chocolate, some coffee, hazelnut, vanilla and some licorice, followed by a long, slightly bitter, moderately warming-alcoholic finish. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice! Borresteijn (7269) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - APR 15, 2016

Black colour with a beige head. Aroma is a really nice and smooth bourbon. Brown sugar sweetness that isn’t overpowering. Oakes (17831) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 30, 2016
Had this one on tap at the brewery. Medium brown. Bourbony nose. Quite sweet. Chocolate, and vanilla. Soft body. Basically adds vanilla to the regular basic Hellfighter, without a whole lot of nuance. tapthis (272) - Baytown, Texas, USA - FEB 18, 2016
Very dark, almost black in color with a tan head. Tastes of cocoa and bourbon with a smooth bourban aftertaste.

Bottle shared at gregwilsonstl’s tasting. It poured a black color with a tan head. The aroma was of coconut, licorice, cocoa, chocolate, vanilla and a touch of coffee. The taste was similar to the aroma with more dark chocolate, vanilla, dark sugars, caramel, nuts, hints of coffee and syrup. Very good stuff. Andrew196 (1921) - Katy, Texas, USA - JAN 17, 2016
UPDATED: MAR 18, 2016 Dark, dark mahogany in color, cappuccino head, thin and whispy. Aroma of roasted cherry, heavy woodiness, vanilla, chocolate. Flavor was big, sweet, roasty, a tad smokey. Rolled into a nice chocolate covered cherry finish with hints of alcohol. Some lacto and chocolate frango rolls in nicely as it warms.

Sampled at gregwilsons tasting. Very dark brown. Just a little blotchy foam. This smells good. The whiskey is gentle in the aroma. I like that. Big malts. The flavor is the same. Good! Huge malts. Wood is not that big but adds some nice touches. A little vanilla. Delicious. gregwilsonstl (2525) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JAN 16, 2016
