Tap at the growler spot. Clear yellow. Aroma of agave, sweet fruit, and medicine. Taste is sweet and slightly boozy. Medium bodied.

The aroma is a mashup of red wine, tequila and tripel. It is true to the brewer’s deScription. Standard golden beer color, perhaps a little darker with no head. The taste is sweet up front with some tequila characteristics in the middle and a tripel aftertaste. Very unique. I’m not really a tequila guy but the barrel aging makes it much more palatable for me. The palate is slick and the only carbonation that shows up is at the very end. It compliments this beer nicely. Overall I was surprised at how much I liked this one. It seemed like one of those beers that the brewer makes just because he can, but this is truly a recipe that is worth copying.

Draft in Houston at karbach in November. A pretty standard tripel but really loads of tequila agave etc. Enjoyably unique.

This one is all about the tequila barrel aging in the flavor and aroma departments. The tripel characteristics never really came out, just plenty of tequila, which i liked so...

Tap. Clear look, not much head, golden in color. The smell is honey, wood, vanilla, sugar, fruit, wine like. The taste is lighter, wood, fruit, thicker body.

Belgian yeast, agave and wood. Interesting but I really think I’d prefer a traditional tripel followed by a tequila shot.

Poured very thin if that makes sense, clear gold with minimal head. Interesting aroma, plenty of agave, some bubblegum, alcohol. Very crisp on the tongue, effervescent, very boozy, more tequila, with a burning finish. I love the adventurous nature if the beer but it came across as a tad too overwhelming for me.

Brilliant clear golden, no head. Lovely Limey and woody aroma with a nice fruity undertone of Belgian yeast and chewy Belgian blondeness. Nice smooth yet bold flavor of gentle peach, lots of agave and oak, a gentle touch of salt, booze, and gentle pepperiness before a soothing Belgian malt finishes it out.

Fruit, bubblegum, booze. Pours clear effervescent gold with a thin white head. Fruity - apples, pears. Bubblegum. A little hint of tequila. Medium bodied. Very smooth with a hint of booze.
