In my head this isn’t quite on par with Boulevard BBQ but I’d love to taste them side by side. Dark fruit, bourbon vanilla. Sweet but not at all heavy.

Bottle courtesy of a BA trade. Pours a hazy ruby red with an off-white head. Nose is candy sugar, vanilla, earth, sweet malt, spirit, and some oak. Flavor is similar with sweet malt, rum, oak, vanilla, booze, and more candy sugar. The candy sugar and rum play well with each other and it’s very sweet but they blend seamlessly. Outstanding quad.

Nice dark fruit quad aroma that gets some vanilla, chocolate, oak and booze from the bourbon barrel. Very pretty dark brown color with cream colored head. The taste is like a sweeter, more hoppy quad with a boozy aftertaste. I’ve never had anything like it, so while it is not my favorite mix of flavors, it does get points for ingenuity. Great palate, slick and only slightly carbonated. Nice offering from the always creative people at Karbach.

Bottle thanks to Will. Pours a ruby brown with small bottle that lasts. The aroma is strong pure sugar, bourbon, vanilla, wood. Medium mouth, strong bourbon, spice, vanilla, sugar, very sweet, really nice.

Sweet dark fruit (fig, date) plum whiskey aroma. Almost black with a thin light tan head that fades almost all the way but leaves just a little remnant on top. Fruity whiskey syrupy vanilla. Silky smooth. Nicely boozy. Just fantastic.
