Sampled on draught. Copper colour with a white head. Taste of pine resin, orange peel and berries. Nice bitter finish. A good American-style IPA. stevoj (5057) - Boise, Idaho, USA - FEB 9, 2016
On tap at the Ginger Man. Pours out smooth and creamy, silky head. Gentle hoppy aroma, taste brings out some caramelly malts, hops rest softly on the backplane. Mild for an IPA, but very well crafted. UXO (1896) - CANADA - JAN 30, 2016
Appearance: clear pale amber with a fat finger of fluffy light beige head, good retention and lacing. (4/5) Aroma: resiny pine, citrus rind, pale malt, light earth. (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate-high bitter. (7/10) Palate: medium slightly creamy body, moderate carbonation, off-dry bitter finish. (4/5)
Solid hop-forward A/IPA with just enough malt backbone to support it. Goes down a treat when working on the basement, and hard to beat for the price! (15/20) Jow (3926) - New York, USA - JAN 23, 2016
Can from blutt59. Brownish orange pour small beige head. Nose is pine and toasted malt slightly herbal. Tastes of orange, pine, pound cake, light spearmint. Chewy mouthfeel. Only light bitterness. Funkatrocious (119) - - JAN 10, 2016
This is a somewhat inflated rating for the beer that I have come to associate with Texas. I've lived here for some two years on military posting, and this is by far and away my local choice for the best and most accessible IPA. Excellent by any standard.

Christmas present from friends from Austin. Pours a thick, white head. Copper, transparent color. Delightfully hoppy bitter balanced with malty sweetness. Notes of grapefruit, blueberry, and biscuit. Very drinkable and enjoyable. Andrew196 (1903) - Katy, Texas, USA - DEC 20, 2015
Probably my favorite, go-to local beer. Marmalade in color, slight haze, nice very lacey white head. Pine cone aroma, notes of peach and grapefruit. Very well balanced on the tongue, a lovely bitterness with some well paired citrus. kathouse (1893) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - DEC 11, 2015
Deep golden and a thick long lasting foam. Aroma is light fruit. More fruit in the flavor. Mango, pear, and a solid malt base. Fairly bitter finish. bratschepeter (59) - Abilene, Texas, USA - NOV 18, 2015
12oz can. Pours an attractive semi-translucent golden amber with visible carbonation:; small off-white head fades to leave mold-like patches of foam and a thin layer of lacing. Aroma is piney hops and a lager-like bitterness with faint earthy malt notes. Taste is a combination of citrus-y and woody hops, perhaps a touch of onion as well. The malt character is very subdued in favor of the hop flavors, not much aftertaste overall. Creamy mouthfeel but not heavy - a solid daily IPA. beerme31 (685) - Holly Springs, North Carolina, USA - NOV 9, 2015
Draft. Amber clear color. Aroma of pine and citrus. Light sweet taste. Medium body, medium level dry hop bitterness. Nice balance.
