COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Copper in color with ruby highlights, this Texas IPA has a strong citrus aroma with hints of earthiness and spice from the added European hops. Light berry fruits are perceived before giving way to citrusy hop character. Dry and quenching, this IPA is dry-hopped for added aromatic intensity.

Funkatrocious (119) - - JAN 10, 2016
This is a somewhat inflated rating for the beer that I have come to associate with Texas. I've lived here for some two years on military posting, and this is by far and away my local choice for the best and most accessible IPA. Excellent by any standard. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

CervezaCabeza (48) - Le Mans, FRANCE - DEC 26, 2015
Christmas present from friends from Austin. Pours a thick, white head. Copper, transparent color. Delightfully hoppy bitter balanced with malty sweetness. Notes of grapefruit, blueberry, and biscuit. Very drinkable and enjoyable.

Probably my favorite, go-to local beer. Marmalade in color, slight haze, nice very lacey white head. Pine cone aroma, notes of peach and grapefruit. Very well balanced on the tongue, a lovely bitterness with some well paired citrus.

kathouse (1942) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - DEC 11, 2015
Deep golden and a thick long lasting foam. Aroma is light fruit. More fruit in the flavor. Mango, pear, and a solid malt base. Fairly bitter finish.

bratschepeter (65) - Abilene, Texas, USA - NOV 18, 2015
12oz can. Pours an attractive semi-translucent golden amber with visible carbonation:; small off-white head fades to leave mold-like patches of foam and a thin layer of lacing. Aroma is piney hops and a lager-like bitterness with faint earthy malt notes. Taste is a combination of citrus-y and woody hops, perhaps a touch of onion as well. The malt character is very subdued in favor of the hop flavors, not much aftertaste overall. Creamy mouthfeel but not heavy - a solid daily IPA.

Draft. Amber clear color. Aroma of pine and citrus. Light sweet taste. Medium body, medium level dry hop bitterness. Nice balance.

jksipa (1035) - Newmarket, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 22, 2015
On tap at Corner, Austin. Medium reddish amber with a good sized off white head that laces nicely. Strong pine and citrus nose with light toffee and hints of raspberry. Light caramel supports big bitter pine and some tartness. Medium slick mouth with average carbonation and a long dry finish.

Had. Few of these on vacation in San Antonio. Really a tasty and well balanced IPA. Wish I could get it here in MN

jhamp9 (2008) - Corinth, Texas, USA - OCT 17, 2015
Clear orange pour with a dense lasting white head. Tons of lacing. Aroma is piney, resinous, spicy hops. Taste follows the nose with some caramel sweetness. Medium body. Straight forward solid IPA.

Plano, Tx - Total Wine - North Plano. Sparkling medium copper, light off-white head. Solid spruce aroma, a touch of spearmint. Solid IPA flavor with some strong citrus bitterness, a touch of yeasty cake mix sweetness, some caramel sweetness. Decently thick mouthfeel.
