Copper in color with ruby highlights, this Texas IPA has a strong citrus aroma with hints of earthiness and spice from the added European hops. Light berry fruits are perceived before giving way to citrusy hop character. Dry and quenching, this IPA is dry-hopped for added aromatic intensity.

Green, fresh, mildly fruity aroma of pine, grapefruit, and even a bit of weed. The taste is appropriately bitter but very fresh and piney throughout. I had it side by side with the Stone IPA and I liked this one a lot more.

UPDATED: JAN 4, 2018 Kewl can pours a clear bronze color with a huge off white head that hangs on for a while leaving curtains of lace on glass. Smells of citrus fruit, biscuits, caramel, pepper and a hint of alcohol. Tastes of grapefruit, lemon, sweet caramel, and a whiff of pepper. Medium body, perfect carbonation, smooth mouthfeel and a dry, bitter finish. This beer is growing on me. The more I drink, the more I like it. Well balanced, malty yet hoppy beer that quenches my thirst. Very refreshing, Well done!

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2017 One of my go-to IPAs if I’m just looking for something drinkable and readily available in my area. It’s a perfectly adequate beer for the style.

Drank from can at Club Quarter hotel in Houston. Nose under ripe citrus, weedy, dank. Taste moderate bitter up front, then dank, lightly spicy, slight vegetal, and some grapefruit. An overriding hint of bubblegum throughout Late mild grainy malt. Light bitter finish.
