Can made on 9/6/17 - nose is “why am I rating this?” Oh yea, one of the cousins in the barrio. Not offensive. Cajun (541) - Lafayette, Louisiana, USA - NOV 4, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 5, 2017 Can - Pours medium amber, thin head. Malt and refrigeration in the nose. Caramel malts, maple syrup pancakes, mild hops and something burnt. Meh. brandon1989 (691) - Lewisville, Texas, USA - OCT 30, 2017
Pours a clear golden amber color with a thin off white head that dissipated rather quickly and left no lacing around the glass. The aroma is mostly bready and caramel malts with some very faint spices. The flavor has some spices more noticeable than there was in the aroma with the bready and caramel malts mixed in as well. The mouth feel is on the lighter side. ronaldtheriot (1992) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - OCT 5, 2017
Karbachtoberfest has a thick, frothy, ivory head of foam, which dies away, quickly, a clear, gold-orange-amber appearance, and minimal glass lacing. Aroma is of spicy, brown bread crust, and the flavor is of spicy & sweet brown bread, with some underlying touch of syrup and a dash of lemon. Mouthfeel is medium, and Karbachtoberfest finishes crisp and refreshing. RJT kevinator (2704) - The Colony, Texas, USA - FEB 26, 2017
A little above average. The aroma and color saved it from being run-of-the-mill. Malty base and pretty but the flavors were severely muted and somewhat bland. Medium palate.

Can. Pleasant appearance, clear, amber. Light floral aroma, some bready notes but subtle. Not as heavy as other marzens, but not quite as light as a festbier. onceblind (10528) - Denver, Colorado, USA - DEC 24, 2016
Clear slightly darker golden under a thin white cap. Doughy Vienna malt and a kiss of grainy toffee on the nose. Smooth and bright body that has a pleasant noble grassy hop pop on the start, Vienna malt doughiness and a dry lagery finish. bytemesis (9191) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - DEC 7, 2016

Pours clear pale amber, small off-white head, decent lacing. Aroma is roasted grain, a bit nutty, toast, noble hops. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, toast & noble hops, light floral note. Light plus body.
Draft. Seems to be the official seasonal at the houston airport. Pours amber. Aroma is weak for now ice cold. Flavor is interesting. Has a definite linknwith malt lquor. Very perfumey exaggerated booze character. Some noble hops and caramal beneath but this is basic. Its too cold. Gonna have to switch to booze

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2016 Draft at Shepherd Park - not a fan of the style but this one worked for me. Light copper pour, off white head. Has a nice crispness to it... Caramel, Apple, earthiness, sweet breadiness, but a neat little bit of hop freshness on the tongue separated it for me. Traces of mint. Wasn’t the typical, bitter, flat, earthy version of the style.
