In the 1960’s on Allen’s Landing sat Love Street; a hot spot of music and social impact. The venue hosted eclectic characters ranging from open mic’ers to the Lizard King himself. Love Street was not only a place, but a state of mind. A place to unwind and let the music refresh your soul.

Likewise, Love Street is a state of mind. Brewed in the Kolsch-style and hopped delicately with floral German hops, this beer boasts a clean malt proile that refreshes to the core, without sacrificing character. So crack one open and find your own Love Street.

Clear golden under a thin white cap. Crisp blonde crackery german grainy nose. Crisp golden grainy flavor as well that’s Cracker forward and has very little hop bitterness. Crisp and clean and bright.

September 2016 - Can share at Leightons, with many thanks to Paulo. As ’Karbach Love Street Kolsch-style beer’, no ABV or date stated. Pale golden yellow, still, hazy, foamy off-white head, dotted lacing. Aroma is buttery, airy, sugars, corn. Body is light, spritzy carbonation, frothy. Taste has more buttered corn, cream crackers, crisp into the finish. It’s a decent beer overall. (2.7)

Leighton’s flat clearance. Thanks to Paul for the can. Almost clear pale gold beer, patchy white head. Light clean malts, mildly sweet. A little nuts. Trace of citrus. Light floral finish. Inoffensive but dull.

Keg at the brewery. It pours clear yellow with a decent white head. The aroma is fresh, white bread, soft sweetness, straw, cracker and some nougat. The taste is crisp, clean, white bread, straw, cracker, mellow sweetness with a dry finish. Light - medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Very refreshing. This makes a lot of sense in this oppressive Texan humidity.

Pours a clear straw from a can, a warm pour, quite frothy but quickly dissipated with no lacing. A nice sweet/bitter malt. Good beer.
