Dark brown color with a hefty tan head. Smells of campfire smoke and malt. Rich coffee and smokey flavor. Very enjoyable.

Bomber pours dark brown with a big tan head. Not much nose probably because it’s a bit cold. Taste is nice rich burnt malty thickness with a good chunk of smokiness-just right. Some sweetness on the end. Full body. Not much alcohol presence. Good beer. onceblind (9708) - Denver, Colorado, USA - DEC 27, 2012
Pours a hazy brownish amber with a small beige head. Nose has some wood smoke, light earthy chocolate malt, and toast. Flavor is really unique, with a certain woody smokiness I have never tasted in a smoke beer or any other beer before, along with some burnt toast, earthy caramel, and a bitter dryness. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - APR 3, 2012

Pours a deep mahogany with a nose of nutty chocolate, raisin, cocoa, and light bourbon. Flavor is hoppy chocolate and light roasted cocoa. Average tingly mouthfeel. Not too shabby.
On tap at Hay Merchant. Aroma is toasted malt and smoke. Taste is an excellent balance of sweet, bitter and savory notes -- about my only complaint is could actually be a little smokier! Tabednar (139) - - FEB 25, 2012

Very, very smokey (as the name implies). Slight cocoa and hazelnut charecteristics. thirdeye11 (6160) - Dallas, Texas, USA - FEB 24, 2012
(Growler thanks to TXJeep) very clear rich brown, little to no head. Nose of gingerbread, dark bread, light smoke that’s well done, and milk chocolate. Taste of smoked malt, medium dark chocolate, mild bitterness, wish it had a bit more to round out some of the smoke but it’s nice in general.
