Pours a hazy brownish amber with a small beige head. Nose has some wood smoke, light earthy chocolate malt, and toast. Flavor is really unique, with a certain woody smokiness I have never tasted in a smoke beer or any other beer before, along with some burnt toast, earthy caramel, and a bitter dryness. blipp (9373) - La Mesa, California, USA - AUG 25, 2013
Bottle at CGBD. Pours dark brown, near black with a beige head. Toffee malts, some light earthy smokiness, and light bready notes. Not bad.
