Itís a job. And a hazardous one at that. Benefits, you ask? I hardly think so. But the show must go on. So, itís with bravado that the Rodeo Clown takes his place in the arena lights. Whether or not heís insane is not important right now. Itís with grit and intensity that the Clown steps in the path of almost certain destruction. Our Double IPA is much the same. At 9.5% ABV, Rodeo Clown Double IPA coats the tongue in bitterness and packs a punch that will knock a bull on its ass . Intense and maybe a little insane drink carefully, but drink often. Ladies and Gentlemen, let the show begin.

[email protected] Pours crystal clear amber, medium creamy off-white head, long lasting with good lacing. Aroma is restrained grapefruit, hints of pine, herbal notes. Flavor is light plus sweet, grapefruit, kinda pithy, pine and herbal undertones. Light plus bitter with a lingering bitterness that lasts. Medium body, soft mouthfeel.

6 week old can. Murky Amber with an average off white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is fairly mild. Pine and citrus mostly. Some sweetness. Taste is big bitter pine. Grapefruit and sticky resin and citrus. Lots of malt sweetness. Big, thick, and sticky. Just ok.

12 oz can. Crafted on 07/25/16. (Specís) Austin, TX.
Clear reddish copper color with a mid-size foamy off-white head. Sweet and strong hoppy bitter aroma with dark fruits, frosted something and sugar. Barley Winey. The flavor is really strong deep bitterness, dark fruity hops, sugary sweetness and caramel malt. A bit less sweetness and we would be talking...

Scopey (14501) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 13, 2016
Keg at Karbach. It pours clear deep brown with a decent light tan head. The aroma is old-school malt double IPA action, bitter - sweet, wood, pine, toffee, resin and some dried fruits. The taste is rich, bitter - sweet, sticky, pine, resinous, toffee, dried fruits, fruit cake, some alcohol warmth and toasty brown sugars with a slick finish. Medium+ body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Almost like a hoppy American-Style (session) barley wine. Pretty tasty, if a bit old - school.

Dark red pour from draft at their brewpub. White head. Very dank and hoppy fruity. Not bad. Floral. Tropical
