3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Typical IPA hoppy aroma but with a twist of grass stuffed pineapple. Amber ale...mild carbonation. Very dry initial taste with a confusing hop rich sticky finish. Some strange lingering quality that I can't quite describe or embrace...

This is the best name for a beer ever!!!
Pours bright orange with a soapy off-white eggshell had and some nice lacing from the start. Nose is musty hops, light belgian malt/yeast but mostly citrus here. I dont know why I let this beer go so long-what was i thinking? However its actually pretty good. Im sure it was alot better when it was fresh. Flavors of slightly oxidized hops, lots of citrus, orange, grapefruit, resin, lite esters. Long estery/orange rind citrus into the finish. Lots of quality and good flavors here, Just wish I had this much more fresh. I think this would be at least another 4.0. jgb9348 (6581) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAR 13, 2014
Rich, very cloudy orange and copper colorued body with a thick, three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of bright yeast and bread, some earthy malt, a bit of herbal and grassy hops and a nutty, spicey character. Medium-bodied; Assertive herbal and spices up front with a large pepper and hay presence, some subdued malts and a little hop kick near the end. Aftertaste is mostly centered around the yeast (makes sense) and the herbal and grassy flavours, but some very light sweetness comes through from honey and a bit of dry spices flavour the yeast. Overall, a nice and flavourful, pungent Belgian-inspired IPA with less hops than expected (but that could be due to a not fresh beer) but still the characters play well and this is well worth trying for folks who enjoy the style and especially the complexity. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Central Market in Houston, Texas on 10-August-2013 for US$5.35 sampled at home in Washington on 13-March-2014. miquelcrush (2053) - Granollers, SPAIN - MAR 6, 2014
A great equilibrated beer, aroma is like an american IPA but it tastes like a belgian beer Beerenberger (1605) - Fischer, Texas, USA - JAN 27, 2014
The nose is mostly hoppy - tropical fruit, oranges, however, hints of Belgian yeast are also present. Nice nose. Pours a hazy orange-amber with a small, but lasting, white head which produces moderate lacing. The taste, like the aroma, is hop forward. Oranges, tropical fruit, slight sweetness, and notes of Belgian yeast, and grain. The aftertaste is bitter. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, very drinkable and thirst quenching. A well conceived marriage of two separate styles. suprchunk (2994) - EffOff, Florida, USA - JAN 17, 2014
Hazy orange colored pour. Big white head. Plenty of lacing. Nice aroma of hops. A slight catty aroma. Taste is a nice malt and hop explosion. Some carbonic bite in the back. Citrusy and delicious.

Clear darkish golden with a frothy thick white head. Smells absolutely amazing with notes of grassy earthy whole hop vines, estery tangerine, something juicy and tangy, and a bit of melon. The taste is full forward hop bitterness, lots of melon and mango with some fresh floral hop tones and a lovely bright fruity estery flavor throughout. Lovely Belgian yeastiness. Soooo delightful. brewballs (215) - USA - DEC 7, 2013
Thick foamy head. Grapefruit, tangy. Bitter. Hoppy. The wash down is harsh and a bit dry. It llaces the glass but is not fluid. A simple brew that is good for a spin but won’t rock your world or break your wallet! It’s basically the working man’s IPA, for that beer lover on a tight budget. It is a great value. But it’s light years behind their Rodeo Clown IPA, the way to go for a few more bucks! llcooldave (1226) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - NOV 28, 2013
Golden honey amber in color. Very nice, hoppy pine and citrus aroma with a touch of that "Belgian" note that I so love. Clean and crisp spicy hops note along with more of that hint of Belgian triple yeast thats tasty. Overall, there is something about Belgian IPAs, that I really like... alcaponejunior (445) - Texas, USA - NOV 19, 2013
I believe this is my first taste of this brewery’s beer. All good so far!
Tan and clear with a good white head and plenty of lace.
Aroma and flavor are a little more towards the IPA end of the spectrum for this style. Hops dominate, but there are notes of breadiness and a light and pleasant sweetness as well. The flavor is full and tasty.
Body is creamy and medium, carbonation is smooth, it’s an enjoyable beer. I will look for others from Karbach, since this one is so tasty. bb (9790) - Alamo, California, USA - NOV 8, 2013
Bottle. Amber beer with a dark cream head. Yeast and grapefruit aroma. Big grapefruit and summer fruit flavor with pine and yeast. Medium bodied. Decent bitterness. Grapefruit and yeast linger with spice and summer fruit.
