Weisse Versa is unfiltered and has the refreshing characteristics youd come to expect in a wheat beer, but the combination of the citrus peel and coriander added during the brewing process and the natural clove, nutmeg and banana aromas produced by our special, Bavarian wheat beer yeast result in a beer thats unlike any youve ever had. With Weisse Versa you get the flavors you love in a German Hefe AND in a Belgian White beer. Both. At the same time.

Can, shared with others at brewclub. Pours a thin poorly retained white head, over a hazy yellow (SRM 3) body.....nose is light banana/bubblegum, hints of clove, no hops.....taste is light banana/bubblegum, hints of clove, no hops, slightly sweet......mouth feel, light body, no alcohol, low carbonation. This is a very light Hefe, possibly change the yeast, or increase fermentation temperature. BJCP 6/3/12/4/6

Great wheat beer. Big aroma of wheat, coriander and citrus. Nice wheat beer color. Medium but full palate. Well-blended flavors with citrus, wheat, clove and banna.

Drank at Minute Maid park 1 Sep 2015 -- Awesome summer Texas brew. Nothing exceptional, but solid as hell.

Really did a great job of harnessing the banana taste with a light spice. Before this glass I hated banana hefeweizens. Been my favorite beer for a while but now I like it even more. Definitely my favorite Karbach. H-Town for the win.

12 oz can, purchased at the H.E.B, Austin, Tx in a mixed 12 pack. Color is darker than the start and Hefe, Amber hue to the gold. Aroma is decent yeast phenols, banana, light bubble gum and maybe a hint of diacetyl.

The flavor is just as the aroma indicates. Yeasty banana, clove, very mild touch of butter. The butter isnt to off putting but there. Almost a hint of coriander (which I dont really want in my Hefe) Body is medium texture with a mild fullness. Honestly its not bad from a can so on draft I would order it for a sample.

Tap at brewery. Pouts slightly hazy golden, average level of head. Aroma is citrus, spices, light yeast, faint fruitiness. Taste is spices, cloves, wheat, grains. Faint banana. Medium body, average carbonation level. Very solid offering. Nice mix of conventional wheat flavor and with a mix of German wit flavors. Nice.

Pour is a beautiful orangish golden color with a nice big frothy white head. Aroma is spicey wheat, slight citrus, banana, taste is more of the same, with nice yeasty qualities. Very nice stuff!

Tap at B-Dubs at Houston Hobby yesterday, 05.24.2015. With Erica. Pours fairly hazy light orange-amber, billowy head. Nose has wheat and notes of clove/spice. Nice yeast/wheat on the palate. Not bitter. Liked it.

This was just a middle of the road wheat, it had the yeast strain of a German Hefeweizen with the malts of an American wheat. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Yard House in Houston. Fairly hazy light orange pour with a small white head. Seems more like a hefeweizen with the clove and phenols. Decent.
