COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Weisse Versa is unfiltered and has the refreshing characteristics you’d come to expect in a wheat beer, but the combination of the citrus peel and coriander added during the brewing process and the natural clove, nutmeg and banana aromas produced by our special, Bavarian wheat beer yeast result in a beer that’s unlike any you’ve ever had. With Weisse Versa you get the flavors you love in a German Hefe AND in a Belgian White beer. Both. At the same time.

From a can, pours a medium, earthy amber with a decent head that disapateas quickly. Aromas of coriander overpower any traditional Hefe aromas. Tasting is the opposite where Hefe flavors, especially traditional bannana, over power other flavors. Overall not a bad session beer but not a shining star.

Aroma of coriander and clove with a medicinal undertone, pours a hazy dark gold color without much of a head. A taste of honey and spice mild with a medium body and a lasting coriander finish.

On tap at the Hay Merchant. Cloudy yellow pour with a white head. Loads of wheat aromas. Refreshing with all kinds of hay and grain highlights. Just a hint of lemon. Good body and mouthfeel.

A hazed blonde golden weizen with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light banana and cloves, light mineral notes, grassy hops, herbaceous, OK. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with banana esters, cloves, light mineral notes and buttery mouth fee, OK. On tap at brewery.

Can, shared with others at brewclub. Pours a thin poorly retained white head, over a hazy yellow (SRM 3) body.....nose is light banana/bubblegum, hints of clove, no hops.....taste is light banana/bubblegum, hints of clove, no hops, slightly sweet......mouth feel, light body, no alcohol, low carbonation. This is a very light Hefe, possibly change the yeast, or increase fermentation temperature. BJCP 6/3/12/4/6

Drank at Minute Maid park 1 Sep 2015 -- Awesome summer Texas brew. Nothing exceptional, but solid as hell.

Really did a great job of harnessing the banana taste with a light spice. Before this glass I hated banana hefeweizens. Been my favorite beer for a while but now I like it even more. Definitely my favorite Karbach. H-Town for the win.
