COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Weisse Versa is unfiltered and has the refreshing characteristics youd come to expect in a wheat beer, but the combination of the citrus peel and coriander added during the brewing process and the natural clove, nutmeg and banana aromas produced by our special, Bavarian wheat beer yeast result in a beer thats unlike any youve ever had. With Weisse Versa you get the flavors you love in a German Hefe AND in a Belgian White beer. Both. At the same time.

Can. An unclear, golden-orange beer topped by a dense, off-white head leaving lacings. The aroma has banana and bubble gum dominating, just a faint whiff of spices and pale malts or wheat escapes the glass. It feels a bit sweet on the palate, medium to full-bodied and nicely carbonated. Bubble gum and banana in the flavor, with a fine bitterness chiming in towards the finish. Overall, a quite decent one, placed somewhere in the middle of German and Belgian wheat beers. 131004

Cloudy golden orange pour with a fluffy white head. Nice banana aroma up front followed by some clove and a hint of bubblegum. Very spicy as it warms and the coriander comes out. A fair amount of malt and wheat sweetness. The flavor is quite clove, coriander, and nutmeg heavy. A bit of citrus, a good malt sweetness, wheat bread, and a fairly decent amount of banana.

Draft. Tasted alongside a live oak here actually. This is far blunter. Heavy on fruits and tartness, a Amish mash of styles rather than the best of both worlds.
