Cinnamon-spiced cereals, nutmeg, allspice, fruit cake, spruce needles, and floral hops. Some caramelized sugar comes through as well, but not much. On the tongue it is spicy bitter with some malty sweetness. There’s a harsh, overspiced inkiness towards the back. The alcohol is not much perceived, but it does add to the inkiness. Moderate carbonation and a medium body. A bit lacking in balance. drsordr (2927) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - JAN 5, 2016
Can pour dark cola brown with large tan head. Nose ginger, sweet malt, light spice, almost peppery, hint of caramel. Taste similar to nose but not as strong. Flavors seem muted compared to the nose. travita (5008) - Dallas, Texas, USA - DEC 29, 2015
Can. The look is dark, brownish black in color, cola look. The smell is heavily spiced, fruitcake, nuts. Lots of Christmas traditions wapped up in it, but maybe tries to be too much and is too much for me. Too heavy on the spice and stuff. dlihcsnatas (819) - Temple, Texas, USA - DEC 24, 2015
Black brew with nice thick tan head that smells of cinnamon and allspice. Was really wanting to love this brew due to the references to the movie but I just couldn’t. Too much went into this making it a mashed up overload of every Christmas spice there is. It is still a decent beer but too much for my palate to handle. Of course with the 8%, by the fourth one I may be liking it much more. Expensive four pack cans so only planning to enjoy these and that is it for this year. Pours a clear darker brown color with off-white, dark ivory colored head. Nuts, spice, caramel, and toasted malt on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with spice and sweetness.

Canned in htown. Brown pour. Serious spices and some nutty malts, as well as a plummyness. Pretty nice. BeerRenter76 (1055) - Texas, USA - JUL 22, 2015
F.U.N. Series #008, 2013- This version is their "Yule Shoot Your Eye Out" winter seasonal that has been Aged in Bourbon Barrels. The beer pours a dark brown color with an off-white head. Some spotty lace left behind. Aroma is full of Christmas spices, cinnamon and some caramel, toffee malt, some vanilla and wood from the barrels. The flavor follows suit. I get a lot of cinnamon and caramel malt, as well as a little bit of nutmeg. There is also raisin notes in the flavor, as well as some other dark fruit. The wood and vanilla come through but dont mix that well, kinda strange and slightly off-putting. daknole (11048) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JAN 10, 2015
Brown pour, beige head. Spices up front hit big with some malt. I get the cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, orange and some vanilla hints. Interesting beer. sjohnny (686) - - DEC 24, 2014
Spice, fruit, malt. Dark brown/black with a quickly dispersing cream colored head. More spice, cocoa, fruit. Glassy smooth, sweet. Very slight bitterness on the very end. This is a really nice beer. outlawskies (564) - Ohio, USA - OCT 12, 2014
Julie says. It's okay nothing exciting she gives a 3.2.
