Brown in color with a khaki head. Subtle banana on the nose along with the expected nutmeg, clove, cinnamon, ginger, and allspice notes. Hints of chocolate, toasted bread, and light roasted malt character. Nice spiciness to the flavor, too. Semi-sweet malt character. Molasses, toast, chocolate, and light roast. A hint of fruit, particularly banana, and a touch of chalk. djd07 (14471) - Houston, Texas, USA - NOV 16, 2011
On tap Flying Saucer. Pours a Dark brown with light tan head. The aroma is a raisin malt and some smoke. Thin mouthfeel with a light smoke and raisin malt flavor. Easy to drink a good spiced brew from Karbach. Drake (13728) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 17, 2016

(Growler, courtesy of Mora2000) Pours a reddish brown body with a medium beige head. Aroma of cinnamon, ginger, caramel, and roasted malt. Flavor of roasted malt, cinnamon,, clove, caramel, ginger, anise, raisins, and nutmeg. A little over the top with the spices for my tastes. deyholla (11599) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 3, 2011
On tap at local bar. Pours a hazy deep toffee brown with a light brown head that dissipates to the edge. Aroma has a good amount of dark grain with roast and a nice spice with nutmeg. Flavor is nicely spiced with roasted malts, dark grains and a hint of bitter chocolate.

Brown pour, beige head. Spices up front hit big with some malt. I get the cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, orange and some vanilla hints. Interesting beer. onceblind (9630) - Denver, Colorado, USA - DEC 27, 2012
Clear black with a thin beiege foamy head that doesnt last long. The aroma is phenominal and is exactly what one looks for in a winter warmer, in that it smells like a cookie. Nose of cocoa and cinnamon and dark creamy cake. However the flavor is not very cookie-like, and turns out to be kinda bitter. Taste starts kinda dark and earthy but quicly gets a lot of cocoa nibb-bitterness and herbal spiciness, with ginger and cinnamon quickly following. Kinda sweet but with a strong bitterness that cuts through all that kinda like an IPA, but not very hoppy. And full of cabinet spice flavors as well, like nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, and orange peel. Weird, but I dug it.. SudsMcDuff (8428) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - DEC 6, 2011
Tap at Da Saucer, H-Town .. . woah, quite a lot of spices .. mellow mouth .. . cinnammon, almond, sugar, medium dark fruit and pumpkin spices .. . good, but a pint would be tough .. . . What the hell was that? I knew I shouldn’t have eaten that packet of powdered gravy I found in the parking lot. blutt59 (6564) - Dallas, Texas, USA - FEB 16, 2013

Location: Draft at Hay Merchant, 12/3/13
Aroma: The aroma is full of Christmas spices, cinnamon, chocolate, etc.
Appearance: It pours a dark brown color with a decent tab head on it
Flavor: The taste is much the same, heavy on the spice, some cake, plenty of sweetness
Palate: The body is medium, it has a decent feel, and a long finish on the mouth
I thought this was a pretty darn solid spice beer. Another really enjoyable offering from Karbach. This is pretty cool. Also, great name.
