Have a couple bottles in the fridge too but this one was freshly tapped @ Porch Swing. Lots of spices but damned if I can name the predominant one.

UPDATED: DEC 1, 2015 Dark brown, clear, with a big, lasting, thickly lacing beige head. Aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, toasted malt and pine with a hint of cocoa. Taste is toasty sweet malts, mild bitterness, and moderate Christmas spice. Medium bodied. I’d swear they’ve beefed this up since 2011. Original rating on 11/16/11 - 8/4/6/3/13=3.4.

Pours a clear darker brown color with off-white, dark ivory colored head. Nuts, spice, caramel, and toasted malt on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with spice and sweetness.

Can pour dark cola brown with large tan head. Nose ginger, sweet malt, light spice, almost peppery, hint of caramel. Taste similar to nose but not as strong. Flavors seem muted compared to the nose.

Can to shaker - pours a dark cola color, massive, coarse and stable beige head. Aroma of spiced pumpkin bread, nutmeg and cinnamon. Caramel and toasty malt hit hard at first.... Medium bodied... Spice kicks in next along with some slightly chalky cocoa. Strange, almost metallic bitterness hurts an otherwise good beer.
