Pours a murky amber-brown with nice tan-off-white head. Aroma is fresh, spiced, caramel, and bread crust. Spicey and balanced taste with roasted edges. The is a perfect holiday beer to me, really captures flavors that go with the season.
Cola colored beer with a sticky beige head that foamed pretty aggressively when I poured it out of the can. Light spice nose. Lots of caramel and brown sugar sweetness with some cinnamon, nutmeg and other holiday spices. Dusty spice finish. Nice seasonal. BelgianBeerGal (4066) - Panama City, Florida, USA - DEC 21, 2016
Half draft at Riverwalk Yard House. Dark brown pour with amber highlights. A little nutmeg and chocolate in the aroma. Flavor is really nice with some spice, dark toasted malt and a little citrus peel. Tasty for winter. ZacM612 (717) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - DEC 18, 2016
Dark brown with a tan, lacing head. Aroma of cocoa and spices. Dark chocolate, nutmeg, cinnamon. Nice festive winter ale. Andrew196 (1902) - Katy, Texas, USA - DEC 17, 2016
Can to shaker - pours a dark cola color, massive, coarse and stable beige head. Aroma of spiced pumpkin bread, nutmeg and cinnamon. Caramel and toasty malt hit hard at first.... Medium bodied... Spice kicks in next along with some slightly chalky cocoa. Strange, almost metallic bitterness hurts an otherwise good beer. ttoadee (1491) - Austin, Texas, USA - JAN 24, 2016
Deep dark brown pour, thin tan head. Nose is dark fruit, hint of gingerbread. Bittersweet. Middle is mild alcohol, some spice, short coco, hint of licorice. Finish is bittersweet, hint like a desert wine.

12 ounce can thanks to Secret Santa crajun! Dark brown, large frothy tan head, good retention. Aroma of chocolate, roast, orange, nutmeg, cinnamon. The taste is chocolate, orange, spice, cinnamon. Medium bodied, low carbonation. Nice. ads135 (4607) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JAN 16, 2016
A really good Christmas beer, courtesy of Emma in 2015. Pours black with a very thick spicy character. Lots of nutmeg, cinnamon, and pepper. AndresTM (434) - Texas, USA - JAN 9, 2016
Cinnamon-spiced cereals, nutmeg, allspice, fruit cake, spruce needles, and floral hops. Some caramelized sugar comes through as well, but not much. On the tongue it is spicy bitter with some malty sweetness. There’s a harsh, overspiced inkiness towards the back. The alcohol is not much perceived, but it does add to the inkiness. Moderate carbonation and a medium body. A bit lacking in balance. drsordr (2659) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - JAN 5, 2016
Can pour dark cola brown with large tan head. Nose ginger, sweet malt, light spice, almost peppery, hint of caramel. Taste similar to nose but not as strong. Flavors seem muted compared to the nose. travita (5006) - Dallas, Texas, USA - DEC 29, 2015
Can. The look is dark, brownish black in color, cola look. The smell is heavily spiced, fruitcake, nuts. Lots of Christmas traditions wapped up in it, but maybe tries to be too much and is too much for me. Too heavy on the spice and stuff.
