A lot of things in Texas have been influenced by zee Germans...zee towns, zee waterparks, zee sausages (mmm), and well...even zee bier! Zee German Pils is our authentic recreation of zee pale lagers of Deutschland.

Pour zee bier and watch as zee bubbles cascade towards zee top to develop a puffy white head. Like a true Pils, this bier is straw-gold in color, light bodied yet full of floral and spicy hop flavors that are zee signature characteristic for this style. Prost!

.5l draft at the Cool River restaurant in the Dallas Love airport. The pour is a clear yellow golden with a small white head. The aroma is a cracker malt with some citrus and grain. The taste is a typical Pils cereal malt along with a bit of the floral grass citrus. The palate is light bodied with active carbonation and a dry mineral finish. Solid.

[email protected] Clear straw body with white head. Nice salty, peppery, spicy hop, dusty malt aromas. Medium bodied. Nice dusty bready pils malt flavors with spicy herbal, black pepper flavors -- crisp finish __ tasty.

Clear golden with thin white head and lots of bubbles. Malty, earthy aroma. Hoppy, grassy pils. Smooth, pretty nice.

Draft (before I realized I was ordering an ABI beer): No aroma. Favor is of lime and some sweet lemon, finishes quickly with a mineraly biscuit malt. Really nice. Too bad it’s ABI.

Can at home. Pours clear golden. Spicy hops, faintly bitter, a bit of grain and toast. Not a bad beer.

Keg at Ginger Man, Plano. Clear golden, small head. Grassy fruity nose. Mid dry with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and bready with mild grass. Mid bitter finish. Sort of in between the German Pils varieties. Neither crisp, nor soft. Actually more in line with the more commercial offerings.

Clear gold with lots of carbonation. Medium head that lingers around. Nice grain aroma. Medium to light body with a crisp clean taste. Refreshing clean finish.

Could be the perfect pilsner. Clear, clean gold with few bubbles and a large white head on the pour that settles to 1/4"+ and holds. The beer is crisp with minimal sweetness or bitterness. Just a refreshing pure beer taste. The writing on the can looks czech. That’s probably why its so good. Karbach is certainly an impressively consistently good micro brewery. The soapy lace leaves 3/16" foamy white circles on the glass. A fresh new touch. I didn’t have any problem getting rid of the six pack in a hurry.

Grass. Dough. Malt. Clear pale yellow with a bright white foamy head. Good retention. Lots of foam left on the glass. Crisp. Smooth with a sharp bitter finish. Grassy. Light to medium bodied. This will be decent when it gets hotter outside.

On tap at the brewery. Comes a clear gold with an average white head. Aroma of grain, grass, and malt. Taste is malt, grain, grass, and a bit of spice. Well made Pilsener.
