Tasted on tap at Karben4. It poured an opaque brown with a thick beige head. Aroma of malt and coffee. Smooth on nitro. Smooth rich malt taste. Definitely a winner.
Draft. Definitely one of the more coffee-forward beers you will come across, more of a brown ale stout hybryd, just coffee as fuck. AWISLguy (3046) - Wisconsin, USA - APR 26, 2015
Growler from the Malt Shoppe in Tosa, shared by the big boys at the weekend of State in Stevens Point. Dark brown pour with little head. Espresso and caramel. More coffee - and also lighter - than expected. 14.2 BananaBi11 (30) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - APR 13, 2015
Pretty light drinking for being a stout. Dark in color, very, very coffee-y. Had a bit of roast flavor with malt. kkleu357 (634) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - APR 10, 2015

Been waiting all winter for this beer to come out. One of my favorite K4 beers.
Huge coffee aroma and taste. Not as much chocolate as I remember. Still very good. BVery (10327) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - MAR 23, 2015
Tap at Karben4. Dark pour with a frothy tan head. Aroma is coffee, roast, and just a hint of sweetness. Smooth palate - not very heavy. Tasty brew.

Pours black with a quickly dissipating tan head. Nose is chocolate, roast, a little ash, and bitter coffee grounds. Taste is the same with a lot of milkiness and light sweetness. Slick and oily with a thinnish body. nuplastikk (6220) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 11, 2014
Tap at Sidedoor. Pitch black body, opaque. Steady beige head Massive coffee aroma. A really well done coffee stout. Rich, sugary, full bodied. The coffee is really in your face. Massive molasses, vanilla, brown chocolate. Thick dessert beer, Southern Tier reminiscent. Very tasty. Skyview (5942) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - MAY 17, 2014
On nitro at the Karben4 brewery/brewpub in Madison, Wisconsin. Pours an opaque brown colored brew with a decent-sized, creamy beige nitro head the really sticks with the glass. Aroma of dark dry black malt, some coffee presence and a touch of caffine-like bitterness. Taste has more coffee flavor than detected in aroma, along with a dry stout base and mild bitterness. Finish is nitro smooth with a mild short bitterness followed by chocolate, coffee and some earthy dry dark malt aftertaste. duchowbob (9) - Windsor, Wisconsin, USA - APR 15, 2014 does not count
On tap @ Dexter in Madison. Intense and rich aromatics of coffee & chocolate. Body is medium with light carbonation. Coffee for hops works for this beer
