COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hopheads crusade on a heroic quest for the holy grail of India Pale Ales. The subconscious composes paradisiacal scenes of malty waves crashing on a ripe lupulin landscape cascading hop flavors and aromas in profuse abundance. With humble confidence we offer this brew as fantasy made reality. Balanced in every detail and gushing resinous, exceptional citrus flavors and aromas that collaborate with soft bready notes surrendered from premium English golden malted barley, this beer is a tropical dreamscape. Epic.

Pint pour, on tap at the brewpub. Consumed on 7-26-14. Pours an orange-ish light amber. The beer pours mostly clear with a slight haze. Looks good. Good aroma features scents of apricot, pear, mango, and pine. Dry, floral-hoppy taste features flavors of biscuit and grapefruit. Dry finish. Medium body. Lively in the palate. Overall, Karben4 Fantasy Factory is quite pleasant. It’s simple but solid and my kind of beer. I could have given this a score as high as 3.9 or even 4.0, but I am trying to be tougher in my ratings.

Tasted on tap at Karben4. It poured a cloudy orangish amber with a thin off white head and streaky lacing. Delicious aroma of hops and tropical fruit. Big hop front with an excellent bitter finish.

Draft at Burnhearts. Pours a orange amber color with a white head and a little lacing. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, pineapple, grapefruit. Medium on the palate with soft, creamy carbonation. Flavor is sweet, malty, bready, a little nutty, some pine and grapefruit hops, with a clean, bitter finish. Nice.

On tap at Dexters. Pours an orangey copper with a bit of a white head. Aroma has fresh fruit, citrus, pine and a touch of caramel. Taste is of sweet luscious fruits, led by mangoes & pineapple. Some grapefruit and lemon zest show up nicely. Very citra heavy, but perhaps a nice mosiac blend in there as well?? Just the touch of caramel in the backbone, but this is very hop forward, and the sweetness comes mostly from the hops. Medium bodied and just a bit sticky. Finishes well balanced between hoppy bitter and hoppy sweet with some length and some stickiness. This was very well done. 15+

Hazy medium amber. Good sized creamy off-white head. Aroma is hoppy. Citrusy. Orange. Grapefruit. Tropical. Caramel to balance. Lighter medium body. Hoppy but moderate bitterness. Very nice balance throughout. Fairly dry. Some floral. Balanced sweetness. Broken record... nice balance. Clean. Not oily. Smooth. Good solid brew but doesn’t blow the doors off. Glad I was able to try it before moving out of WI.

Excellent IPA brewed here in Madison. Might just be the best one around here. Nice orange body. Powerful hoppy earthy aroma. Very tasty. Can?t wait for bottles to come out

On tap in a Madison bar. Pours hazy orange with a creamy head. Smell is hops and taste is sharp bitter. Not bad. Went with another IPA for the pitcher.

The first thing that hit me with this beer was a great citrus aroma. The taste followed very well, with a blast of a very refreshing citrus flavor. I’m really liking this one...surprising that it’s not rated higher, but I guess they used to use different hops?
