COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hopheads crusade on a heroic quest for the holy grail of India Pale Ales. The subconscious composes paradisiacal scenes of malty waves crashing on a ripe lupulin landscape cascading hop flavors and aromas in profuse abundance. With humble confidence we offer this brew as fantasy made reality. Balanced in every detail and gushing resinous, exceptional citrus flavors and aromas that collaborate with soft bready notes surrendered from premium English golden malted barley, this beer is a tropical dreamscape. Epic.

On tap at Karben4 Brewery. Ruby copper with a thin off-white head. Aroma of citrus and mango with caramel and grapefruit. Taste of citrus, grapefruit juice, caramel and a mild bitter finish. Another nice seasonal IPA, wish they’d put out more…

On tap at The Free House - Wow, surprised at some of the meh rankings for this one. Pours cloudy amber with a creamy off white head. Nose is huge citrus and tropical fruit, with some notes of pine and dank onion mixed in (though this is real subtle). There’s a dry bread malt base, but the hops are the show here. Super juicy. Taste is a bit more subdued, with the citrus and fruit mixing with the dry bread malt to create a very drinkable IPA that still has an abundance of flavor. If this came in 6 packs I could see it being very dangerous--flavor-packed without causing burnout after a couple. Pretty full-bodied for the style, with ample carbonation that doesn’t get in the way of the flavor. I agree wtih Greg--in the WI IPA landscape, this is a standout.

On tap at the brewery. Comes golden orange with a decent white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, and malt. Taste is grapefruit, lemon, other tropical fruit, pine, and malt. Tasty.

Tap at Mickeys. Hazy orange tan body, steady creamy off-white head. Quite an excellent beer, bolder and deeper than most WI IPAs by a long shot. Big citra flavor, challenging and enjoyable. Very modern IPA, well done.

Sampled at GTMW. Kind of a cool name for a beer. Gives me kind of an 80s vibe. I like to think this brewery is like slick 80s club, perms everywhere. It pours orangish, white head. This beer has a tropical hop aroma, some citrus and caramelly/ bready malts. Flavor is balanced between citrus and tropical hops, and subtle sweet malts. Nice, well balanced, I will probably visit this place some time.

Hoppy, fruity, orange and awesome. Heavy on the tropical fruit side. But very drinkable and very flavorful. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Double sample [email protected] during FMG delegation visit 5ix13. Supremely balanced and even suave mild IPA with enough exotic citrus bouquet and some biscuit body to keep the palate entertained as it easily gulps down. Pleasant, rather than epic.

Sounds like they were having a wet dream when coming up with this description. ITs a solid tropical ipa on all fornts.

Had this on draft at the Tipsy Cow in Madison, WI. Jet black pour with thick brown head. Super rich taste, very chocolatey. Has a great hop taste to it also. Very good local brew

Braudog (6805) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - JUL 5, 2013
Draft at the brewpub. Hazy golden beer. Sends off a dirty citrus aroma and drinks with a sticky, orange/tropical fruit flavor profile. Quite nice and very drinkable. (#5107, 7/2/2013)
