Nice aroma and good flavor but a little too earthy for me. After drinking a couple of wet ipas this just isn't quite as good. Kroney (256) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 8, 2015
Bottle to pint glass. Appearance: cloudy burnt orange with a thin off-white head. Aroma: bitter grapefruit oils, lemon peel, pale malt. Taste: dominated by sour/bitter citrus. Palate: good carbonation, but a bit oily. Really well done. jbruner (5277) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - DEC 5, 2015
Pours a chill hazed golden yellow from the bottle with fluffy white head that dissipates to leave moderate lace. Aroma of resinous citrus hops over faint caramel malt. Taste is more balanced, clean and easy drinking IPA. Solid beer, soft carbonation. Christpuncher (3251) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 23, 2015
grapefruiity citrus and dank smelling. citrus, pine, and resin notes. finishes bitter with a hoppy bite. pours copper with a thick white head. had out of a bottle in wisconsin dells. first beer from the brewer. fantastic. commonmac (1337) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - NOV 16, 2015
Bottle shared by wildcard and poured into a pint glass. Nice golden and orange color that has an unfiltered, cloudy quality. Off white head. Aroma has citrus notes primarily orange and tangerine. Taste follows the nose with a well balanced effort of bitter and sweetness leaning mostly citrus. Oily mouthfeel. Feels like a familiar IPA. Very accessible. Not quite a fantasy but good reality.

12 oz bottle courtesy of Todd. Pours a deep rusty orange with a small white top. Aroma of orange, red grapefruit, bread malt and barley. Taste of orange, bread malt, barley and hints of grapefruit. Itzjerm (3118) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - NOV 12, 2015
Good IPA with a malt back bone and light hop. Toasty light hop. But builds with bitterness.

Thanks, ineedbeer. The beer is a medium orangey amber color. It’s quite cloudy. I can’t quite see through the middle of the glass. The head is small to medium in size and white. The layer of foam sticks around for a good amount of time and leaves some lacing. The aroma has a lot of light caramel malt flavor with a citrus forward hoppiness. Mild tropical flavor. Mostly orange with some grapefruit. A little bit of a peachy flavor to it. Just kinda mild and uninteresting. The taste keeps to that mildly hoppy theme with a fairly strong biscuity malt sweetness with some caramel. Moderate to mild bitterness. Some astringency. Mildly sweet. There’s just not a lot going on. The hops are a bit blandly bitter, though the beer isn’t very bitter overall. Medium body with a touch of booze. Poured from a 12 ounce bottle, thanks to Brian. The aroma is grapefruit, pine, caramel, light cardboard. The flavor is grapefruit rind, pine, light cardboard, slight oxidation. ineedbeer (2255) - Oakland, California, USA - OCT 23, 2015
Poured from a 12 oz bottle courtesy of the catman.
Aroma has a light maltiness with a bit of caramel and moderate cracker and biscuit notes. Moderately strong tropical fruit hop notes with some melon and mango. Some medium light citrus and stone fruit skins. A hint of pineapple.
Pours a hazy, brownish orange with a small, thick, slightly off white head that slowly recedes to the edges. Medium light lacing and small legs.
Flavor is slightly sweet with moderate cracker notes and some lighter caramel and toasted bread. Flavor has moderately strong bitterness. Medium hop notes with tropical fruit and lighter stone fruit and citrus.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, but slightly watery with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a nice beer with decent sweetness. Good hop aroma, but could use a bit more in the flavor. Darker color than the malt profile lets on in the aroma and flavor.
