GBBF Day 3. Keg. Hazy gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and has a fine minerally crispness. Sweet banana esters. Bruised banana. Light and ripe citrus. Fine.
August 2016 - At GBBF 2016 as ’Karg Dunkles Hefe-Weissbier’. Hazy dark orange with a foamy off-white head. Aroma is banana, lightly musty, some clove. Body is light with tingly carbonation. Bottled 500ml. -Hazy amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, wheaty nose with whiff of banana. Sweetish malty, caramel, wheaty and mild yeasty with notes of banana and touch of spices. 500ml bottle. Passed its use by date. Thick Cloudy reddish amber. Lots of sediment in the bottle. Aroma is different strong, banana, alcohol, bubble gum . 500ml bottle at Sternbräu Rankweil. Aroma is light yeast and some dark fruits. Appearance is very cloudy brown with a thick brown-ish foam. Taste is sweet and light bitter. Strong carbonation. Mild. Very nice Dunkelweizen although not so special.

Draft at GBBF 2013, day 3 - London. Pours cloudy, milky golden-brown with a tight creamy cap. The nose holds overripe banana, doughy wheat. Medium sweet flavor with more ripe, mashed banana, lightly toasted wheat, dough. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Cloudy brown with visible carbonation. The tan head is foamy-creamy, has very good retention, and leaves a little bit of lacing.
The beer has the flavor and aroma of wheat and yeasty banana. Toasted malt is rather faint.
M: decent mouthfeel, with medium carbonation and body.

Aroma of banana, cloves, brown sugar and nuts. Hazy reddish brown. Citrus and banana sweetness mix, a good dose a bitter as well. Body is on the thinner side with is the only real detractor.
