50cl bottle. Pours a toffee colour with a yellow hue around the edges. There are steady bubbles and a good head though not as enormous as usual. The nose is of banana and cream, maybe including a hint of vanilla. The taste has more bananas, vanilla ice-cream and a toffee note in the background that comes in more at the end. The palate is medium to big in structure, there is a very creamy texture as expected and the finish fresh if not completely clean. Overall, a lovely rich but refreshing beer. 20 May 2011, bottle. if poured so there is yeast in the glass it looks like the light part of a guinness before it settles; light tan and almost frothy. delicious banana bread aroma, bananas and walnuts. med/thin body, creamy and fairly fizzy. rich, mushy bananas and a moist bready yeastiness. great! Caramel malt nose, hazy as heck, big toffee head with lace. Flavour is a lovely toasted malt, caramel. Medium bodied, very well balanced, gorgeous mouthfeel, Yum. Great! As a Friend has said in the past" I could drink this from a dumpster." KimJohansen (10498) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - JAN 4, 2010
Hazy amber with a medium off white head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and hints of bread. Breadish flavour with caramel and malty notes. Finished sweet. Alphadelic (2249) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 3, 2009
Thick and muddy in the glass. With a super-thick head. Obvious banana and spicy clove to the nose with a light green herbal quality to it. Chocolate milk and menthol do not make for the happiest of marriages in the mouth. In fact I would say this one was downright abusive. Smooth and round in texture. Weird looking and very lacking.

Muddy brown with a lasting off-white head. Fruity aroma with some banana. Sweetish fruity flavour with a little yeast DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - NOV 13, 2009

Banana fruit aroma. Dark coloured smooth on the palate and hazy in appearance with a crisp and slightly dry pale malt finish. Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 31, 2009
Murky dark brown colored, little yellow head, not very beautiful indeed. Aroma has banana with grains dominating, some yeast and fruity lemon also here. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is similar with grains coming up, banana and thin spices also here. Aftertaste dries with yeast. Rune (13760) - Tromsø, NORWAY - SEP 7, 2009
Draught, one-third pint. It is not a pretty sight, the body content looks like muddy water. The aroma is much more inviting with a discreet smell of berries and late fruits. Juicy malts in flavour with vanilla sweetness partial retarded by bitter spices. Medium bodied (GBBF, 04.08.2009).

Hideous murky greyish brown with an off white head, so ugly in fact that it scores a rare 1 for appearance. Aroma is by contrast a delightful sweet clovey banana, white the taste is malty with wheatiness and hazelnut. Slight dryness. A very nice beer if you drink it in the dark.
