330ml bottle. If I say that this is macro brewery try for smoked beer boom, you can pretty much guess what’s coming. It has some charasterics of smoked beer, but all flattened and watered down. Color is deep copper, pretty nice looking. Didn’t notice any smoke on the aroma, mostly sweet malts aroma. Flavor was like taking your standard lager adding 1/4th of smoked beer to it. So it’s like lager with a very small hint of smoke in it. Not exactly bad beer, just uncharacteristic

Pours dark golden color with a small head. Aroma of faint smoke, caramel, malts and starch. Flavor of starch, some caramel notes, hay and faint fruits. Somewhat better than I expected but nothing special.

Aroma is a bit stale with grainy malt, hints of grass and floral notes. Also some smoke and tar occurs when it warms up. Flavour is slightly smoky with tar, grainy malt and hints of grass. Sticky palate. Not good, the smoke notes are too weak and feel a bit artifical.
[Thanks to oh6gdx]. Brown colour with minimal off-white head. Aroma is caramelish and sweet. Flavour has slights notes os caramel and brown sugar with a mix of smokyness. Carbonation and body are medium MikeKeller (956) - Kemi, FINLAND - SEP 3, 2011
Bottled. Deep coppery coloured Korpisavu IV is strange combination of strong finnish lager with artificial smoke aroma which makes this quite odd blend. You can definitely feel the fake taste of smoke and it’s quite bothering. Not a very good beer. Psytron (2625) - Turku, FINLAND - AUG 1, 2011
This could be a lot better. Then, it IS a lot better than generic Finnish beer.

Slight smokey bacon scent. Bit of a lager taste, metallic with smoke. Not great but not entirely bad Bullit (4845) - Buffalo, New York, USA - JUL 19, 2011
