Less would be enough. With its rich copper colour Tosi Vahva (Special Strength) Karhu is generously malted and flavoured with the best hops. It is a balanced, special strength and full-bodied beer.

There is a 8.8 % version of this, which is sold in the Tax Free shops on the cruiseships from/to Finland. Ratings should, however, be put under this entry.

330ml can, thanks FatPhil. Pours clear reddish orange, bubbly off-white head. Sweet malty, boozy, grainy, metallic aroma. Taste is same as aroma, even more boozy and metallic. Medium body, over average carbo. Boiled vegetables in aftertaste. It’s not drinkable even if beer is cold, hard to sip even for rating, so bad. Thanks a lot FatPhil, I see nightmares becouse of this beer.

Clear amber beer with some frothy white head. Aroma is heavy malty, metallic and alcohol. Taste is mild sweet malts, strong alcohol and strange bitterness. Little bit too alcohol taste.

The color is clear amber with foamy white head. Aroma is malty caramel. Taste is medium sweet with caramel notes and warming alcohol in finish. Drinkable.

Very nice full bodied beer with a strong and heavy malt aroma. Colour is dark and pours a nice fluffy foam :)

MarkoNm (2797) - Novo mesto, SLOVENIA - AUG 19, 2015
Pours a clear amber color, topped with a small white frothy head. Grainy malt aroma, sugar and some caramel. Taste is pure malty sweet, some hints of bitterness in the finish and a bit boozy. A bit metallic aftertaste. If you want to get wasted it will do, otherwise nothing special. Not unpleasant.

0,33L can (from SuperAlko, Tallinn). Pours clear red copper with off-white head. The head stays. Aroma is metallic, malt, maize, and alcohol. Flavor is sweet, maize, alcohol, malt. Overall: it’s a malt liquor tick!

Senka (1082) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - AUG 7, 2014
33cl can. Rich copper color, thin head. Malty, bitter and loaded with alcohol. Thin, watery, fizzy pop like beverage. Why 1.9 and not 1 - it is well balanced, and drinkable when cold. It is so nasty, that is good.
