Hazy orange color, big cloudy white head. Banana and lemon in the nose, also some grainy notes. Brewed in the classic German style: banana, esters, chewy maltyness with flowery and lemony notes in the finish. Refreshing and balanced weizen. Suprisingly good, draught version just lacks fruityness from the yeast, which bottled hefeweizen usually have. Probably one of the best Finnish wheat beers around.

Orangy aroma, a very authentic hefe. However, the taste is quite medicinal, or chemical - hospital-like. Not a bad hefe, but a let-down after the aroma. The hops in the finish are fairly pleasant.
Rerate: Big butterscotch taste, sweet and malty, but a bit acidic. Maybe a bit thin and watery. Dropping 1 overall.
Draught at Villi Waino, Helsinki.

Hazy yellow colour with small bubbly white head.
Toffee, wheat, yeast, banana and citrus in aroma.
Flavour is wheat, malt and some sweetness. Little powdery and mild. Flavour disappears pretty quickly. Rather good for Finnish Hefeweizen.

Wäinö. Poured hazy almost orange with a frothy beige white head. Aroma is weizenlike, yeast and wheat. Very smoth mouthfeel, flavor is spices, banana and lemon. Easy to drink, quite light. Something bout the aroma I didn´t fancy, as the beer got little warmer.
(Draught at Schönes Fräulein, Helsinki, on 2009-05-15) Orange and cloudy. Small white head. Banana and fruitiness in aroma. Medium bodied palate with quite a lot of carbonation. Banana, malts, sweetness, fruitiness, bitterness and light saltiness in taste. Fruitiness and banana in aftertaste. sayravai (4711) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 15, 2009
Opaque yellow-orange with a medium head. Quite clean and fresh aroma of wheaty malt and hints of lemon. Not much banana or spices. Sweetish, wheaty-malty flavor with some aromatic-flowery hoppiness and light lemony sourness. Light to medium body, medium carbonation. A quite succesful Hefeweizen attempt with a touch of witbier and floweriness. Brandman (2962) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 29, 2010
Thin yellow body, some haziness. Aroma of wheat, some clove notes, no banana. Pretty lame flavour. Watery palate.
