(Draught at Villi Wäinö as Karhupanimo Münchener, 20120321) The beer poured brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, molasses and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, grass, mildly molasses and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, grassy and bitter. Nice, good malty body but also dull. Dark ruby color, small off-white head. Caramelly and slightly chocolaty nose, kind of Karhupanimo house aroma for their dark lagers. Decent medium-body. Crisp carbonation. Caramel malty with milk chocolate notes, finishing with light hoppy notes, but overall quite sweet, very much Finnish Christmas beer -like. Another Karhupanimo’s drinkable session craft brew without flaws ... these just keep coming now a bit too similar.

) Clear, dark copper with a small, tanned, lasting head. Toffee-caramely aroma with a touch of chocolate. Flavor is caramely with some sweetish marmalade and aromatic hops, and a faintly roasty, a bit metallic hint. Light to medium body with medium carbonation. Ok and has some character, but not quite my favorite style.
, Helsinki. Pours brown color with a thin head. Strong malty aroma and flavor, also little caramel in there. Quite bitter finish.
