"One of their nicer beers at the Carlsbad Brewery. A nice aroma of belgian spice and orange peel. Moderate bitternes in the flavor, but a good dose of the citrus and yeasty flavor. Light, but good."

Bottle from Total Wine, Sacramento. Pours golden with a decent off-white head and a citrus aroma. There is a spicy fruit and caramel malt flavor with a Belgian yeast feel - a liitle banana ester - and a very dry finish. GT (10002) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 11, 2013
Tap at Steam Haus Gastropub in Corona, CA. Low haze, ugly deeper amber pour. Weak foam. Maple and brown sugar nose. Taste is odd: bitter and harsh with sticky maple. Nothing Belgian or IPA about this. Stale. Dusty mouthfeel. Ick. Probably an old keg. blipp (9590) - La Mesa, California, USA - AUG 19, 2013
Draft. Pours golden orange with a thin head. Light fruity and yeasty notes, with medium bitterness, hints of spices, and grassy and earthy notes. Pretty good. drfabulous (8470) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - JUN 24, 2011
22 ounce thanks to JohnCoctosin. This is a very refreshing and nicely done take on the mix of IPA and Belgian. Most of the taste - the banana, yeasty taste -comes from the yeast. But it works well. Enjoyable. BMan1113VR (7930) - Los Angeles, California, USA - MAY 8, 2011
On tap. Pours with a clear copper body and a lasting, egg-shell hued white head. Aromas are spicy, grainy, candi sugar, caramel, phenols (mostly coriander), vanilla. Esters and phenols remind me nearly of the Unibroue yeast strain. Fruity, citrus, light tropical fruit. Flavors are sweet, tropical fruit, grassy, weed like hop profile. A bit boozy (didn’t know the ABV). Very estery, light phenols, mango, papaya. Medium bitter, lightly astringent finish. Lively bubbles and dry. Pretty tasty.
