Poured into a shaker. Color is black with a dense tan head. Aroma is malty and nutty with some chocolate and floral hops. Flavor is chocolate with nutty notes and floral hop flavors. Medium bodied. Nice lacing. Overall this is a really nice black IPA.

Bomber pours deep darkness with full tan head and some sheet lacing. The aroma is big and yummy with dark roasted malts, earthy and spicy hops, some dark roasted coffee, malt balls and some rye twanginess. Great aroma. The taste feels thin but some how also on the creamy side. I get dark roasted malts fused with almost, but not quite, chewy rye spicy twanginess. 22. Pours a murky near-black with a nice creamy tan head. Big spicy rye nose, showing that husky pepperiness along with some grapefruit and pine. Creamy full body with lively carb. Black forest body topped with a perfect, browned, hop-pocked, cream head. Spicy and prickly nose - probably a combination of PNW hopping and assertive rye. Rough black malt notes. Acrid ash notes with definite bitterness. Dry, bitter, and charry finish. The hop bitterness grows more distinct with each sip.
