Clear golden with a mammoth, rocky head. Crisp, malty aroma with slight earthy hops. The flavor is dominated by biscuit malts with a ever so faint fruit tone. Smooth, clean body. The aroma is off-putting, but the flavor isn’t all that bad. Overall it’s pretty boring, though. DubC5000 (305) - San Francisco, California, USA - AUG 16, 2008
Darkish golden in color. Sweet, roast corn aroma, with the lightest hints of apple. Very subtle flavor, corny, and very cidery. Not much by way of hops, a very slight bitterness in the aftertaste, and a very dry finish. Kind of watery. It’s not amazing by far, but it’s tolerable, and as far as most American lagers go that’s saying a lot. GT (10001) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 30, 2015

>> Flatter carbonation, clear straw color, detergent foam. Nose is candy corn, detergent, soap, yellow apple. Taste is white sugar, slight chemical, mealy yellow apple, candy corn. Not my favorite.
Bottle from Henry’s. Light yellow on pouring. Slightly sweet grainy aroma, very light. More flavorful than most beer super light beers. Still it is what it is, a light beer. patrick767 (4063) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - JAN 23, 2008
draft at brewpub - I don’t have much to say about this one. It’s about what I’d expect from a light pale lager that at least avoid adjuncts. It’s thin, sweet, and bland.

(11/2/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in downtown San Diego. 3.4%. Clear pale golden color with a white head. Aroma has graininess and cereal. Sweet grainy flavor with some husky notes. Light-bodied. Ungstrup (38152) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 14, 2009
Draft at the Carlsbad location. A light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with a light skunky note due to lack of malt, but also a light malt note. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw on a lightly malty back ground, leading to a dry lightly bitter finish. 15 IBU’s. Was told it was at 3.4% ABV. On tap at the Universal location. Pours with a VERY pale yellow body with a white head.Aroma is very light, with some grainy and biscuit notes. Flavors are dry, bready, cooked corn, cracker, with no bitterness. Noticeable DMS. Dry mouthfeel with spirited carbonation. SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUN 26, 2006
On tap at the Old Columbia location. Bitterness is at 15 IBU’s and the lack of malt cannot support even this level of hops. Pale yellow with a white head. Lacks the nasty corn or rice adjunct aroma, but the body is just as meaningless as a BMC. For a Karl, this sucks. Canadianlush (169) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - AUG 20, 2007
On tap at the Hotel Del Coronado. Very disappointing. I had no idea how light this was. I mine as well have ordered a Perrier. No aroma to speak of. Taste is flat with little to no umph. I’d tear this down and start all over.
