"A very sessionable sour. Pretty close on getting the traditional Flanders red style right, every component was just a little tamer than the belgian counterparts. Pretty cool beer, awesome name!" joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - FEB 2, 2013
On tap at Tap 25. I’ve actually been wanting to try this for a long time. It pours dark orange gold with an off white head. The aroma is strong with berries, oranges and a weird aluminum foil, metallic thing going on. Sweet cherry candy as well. The flavor is a tad watery with stone fruit, light acetone and vitamin water. Not enough tart fruit or sweetness. Too much acetone and minerally water. Ugh… actually not that good. KyotoLefty (10263) - Kyoto, JAPAN - AUG 18, 2012
Draught at City Beer. Deep, pretty red-brown with a fine, lacy head. Spicy nose, cinnamon and cherry. Flavors of chocolate, cherry, yogurt. Not very sour at all, but rather sweet and clean with a light tang. Tasty, but not really going anywhere.

A clear red/brown colored beer, with a white head. The aroma of red fruits, a little caramel, malt and hop. The taste of sweet and a little sour fruits, a little hoippy. The aftertaste is some sour and sweet almost no bitter. jsquire (4489) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - JUL 22, 2012
On tap at the Yard House in San Diego. I got this beer for the great Simpsons reference name. Reddish hued beer with a fizzy off white head. Nose of Hostess Cherry Fruit Pies. This beer with lots of sour cherry flavors. Like a thin fizzy wine spritzer. The finish has some faint funk but its mostly just cherries. Not as complex as it should be.

Tap @ the brewpub, San Diego. Medium head with medium duration. Color is dark amber. Aroma and taste are sour malt, fruit, brett and notes of hops. Not very sour and a good beginner beer for sour wanna be’s. NachlamSie (3483) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUL 7, 2012
Half pour at Urge Gastropub. Pours red with a small head. There is some light, sharp sourness in the aroma with metallic notes and an assertive papery hop presence. The body has a distinct fruitiness, but is nowhere near as full as many others in the style. The finish is quick with a modest tartness. Fair. brinehart (213) - Colorado, USA - JUN 29, 2012
On tap at brewery. Beautiful garnet red with fleeting white head. Fruity nose - cherry and tart mixed berry. Complex flavor. Sour and tart fruit dominates, but also some balance from a toasty malt component. Drinkable and refreshing. Good beer. JohnC (3008) - Mission Viejo, California, USA - APR 5, 2012
I had this on tap at Karl Strauss in Costa Mesa. This red pour had a nice tart flavor, but not as "big" a tartness as you’d find in other Flanders Reds. It was very drinkable. bb (9268) - Alamo, California, USA - DEC 2, 2011
Draft. Rich amber beerw ith a light tan head. Oak and light tart aroma. Dark red fruit and oak flavor with tartness. Medium bodied. Red fruit and light lemon/green apple lingers with tartness and light oak.
